This will display the available Radwin components that may be installed. When installing ensure the install path is correct during the installation sequence. The installer allows multiple copies to be installed on a single machine, so the install path may be changed. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Multilog_LX_serial firmware included with this version of Radwin 4.68 does not support MODBUS. If Radwin asks you to update a MODBUS LX logger, please click NO. The latest firmware to support MODBUS is v3.70. Please contact HWM customer service with any problems. ==================================================================== 3. Getting Started ==================================================================== The software is broken down into a number of modules: Convert - Transfers an existing Radlog For DOS database into a Radlog for Windows database. Setup - System Configuration and logger database management Download - Download parameters/data, Upload parameters View - Graphical and tabular data manipulation Autocall (Optional) - Automatic data download Data Generator - AUtomatic export of data for importing into 3rd party systems Import/Export - Database mergeing Alarm Programmer - Logger alarm confioguration Alarm Receiver - Receive and process loggers alarms After installation it is important that Radlog For Windows is correctly configured. This is achieved be running the Setup module and selecting the System Configuration button on the tool bar, or selecting it from the options menu. Ensure the System Configuration parameters are correct before selecting OK to save the setup. NOTE: Radlog For Windows data files are not compatible with data files created using the DOS version of Radlog. If both systems are installed, the database paths should NOT be the same. The data conversion program should be used to copy the DOS database and data files into Radlog For Windows format. ==================================================================== 4. Online Help ==================================================================== Each module displays a helpbar on startup. These provides an overview of how to use the system. In addition, many windows contain help text. ==================================================================== 5. Radlog For Windows History ==================================================================== ******** VERSION 2.0 ******** Bug Fixes From version 1.12 --------------------------- When printing a graph can end up with the x axis divisions text tightly packed, one displayed time is almost immediately followed by another. Sentry load/Store parameters doesn't work in download/upload s/w. Pulsar Flow logger cal value should be 900, not 1. KNC should default to 0, not 1. View scroll range doesn't always scroll to limits of the graph New Features ------------ Pressure Transient Centurion, and LoLog logger types added. Transient Version of View software available for viewing data from Pressure Transient Loggers ( sample rates down to 0.05 seconds ). Enter parameters option included in download so a logger doesn't have to be downloaded before uploading new parameters. 4-20mA and 0-1V transducers now have a sensor type selection. Setup software now allows sensors and units to be entered and stored. Default Sensor Types: Pressure Flow Depth Dissolved Oxygen Chlorine CO2 Suspended Solids Ph Rain Fall Sunshine Hours Humidity Temperature Wind Speed Wind Direction Precipitation Percentage Conductivity ORP Turbidity Time Gas Flow Electricity Volume Count Frequency View software now auto-scales all data with the same sensor type on the same axis, instead of digital and analogue channels. Psion included in download options. ASCII export included in view that is compatible with Radalrm ( Watnet ). Wesnet export also included. Allow traces to be added/subtracted from each other and to have lookup tables applied. Allow line style selection - useful for b/w printers and monochrome displays. Right mouse button cancels current graph mode. When a location is selected, the filing system now defaults to the last selected zone and location. Database updated to version 1.2. ******** VERSION 2.01 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.0 -------------------------- If graph units changed from other than base units, the precision to which the axis are displayed is not updated. Data summary only displays Flow statistics for a true flow channel. If flow selected as sensor type on 4-20mA or 0-1V then only get min, max, and average. Printing graphs with a large number of points does not always print properly. Edit data file comment changes the comment in the data file list, but when you go back into the list the old comment remains. Modified average factor for last point calculation so the sum of the points involved is not divided by a value greater than the number of points in the sample to give a more sensible last point value. When Sentry Pressure parameters are entered from scratch and then uploaded the logger does not record. New Features ------------ New logger types for Radio and Cellnet added to logger selections. Radio/Cellnet logger setup included in the database. Graph parameters and Time parameters now in a notebook object. Autocall software for automatic data downloads, appending data to archive files, and receiving calls from Cellnet loggers to download data and upload parameters. Database updated to version 2.0. ******** VERSION 2.03 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.01 --------------------------- If graph statistics are displayed for a sensor type other than Flow, Pressure is always displayed as the sensor type instead of the correct sensor type. An area at the right side of the graph area does not always get updated. Max data exceedance always occurs on Autocall regardless of data value. For default logger parameter set entry allow pulse power field to be selectable. Lookup table graph first point sometime incorrect and drawing right hand edge of x-axis corrected. Default logger parameter sets should set the record start time to 23:45:00. If zoomed in long way text can get displayed on the wrong data point. Graph time span display is incorrect in tabular type windows ( 1 sample period too much - when zoomed out fully ). Radio logger setup call time table modified so table entries are not sorted now, and selection problem of selecting a call position and then entering a call time corrected. Download Interrogator communications improved for interrogator V1.4 Convert 2.031 contains bug fix to allow Autocall data to be converted. Manual Call 2.031 contains bug fix for changing Multi Channel channel recording states. New Features ------------ Dos to windows data archive converter Dos to windows Lookup table converter Dos to windows Function Set converter Dos to windows Telephone file converter Allow multiple graphs from 1 function set Function sets contain graphing elements of DAT, MIN, MAX, AVG, TMN, TMX, TOT. Master Satellite comms now implemented in Autocall software. Display comms port in use in the manual software. Time sensor type included with units of seconds, minutes and hours for use with time at min and time at max graphs. Autocall now displays much more information about port setup and comms in progress. Autocall may now be aborted, and Manual software allows modem calls to be aborted during dialling. Autocall has improved error table and call status. Function set entry now allows auto data generation and associated time period entry. Auto Data Generation is not implemented in V2.03 however. In Autocall when errors have occurred the error count box is highlighted Setup only allows multiple Autocall ports of the same connection type be enabled if they are modem ports. Other types such as direct logger may only be assigned to 1 port. Database version checking is now implemented to check the database in use is not a future version i.e. checks if a more recent software version has updated it. LoLog now has a count/event mode selection option. ******** VERSION 2.04 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.03/2.031 --------------------------------- Problem of uploading logger parameters recording status that was introduced in version 2.03 has been fixed. More comprehensive error reporting in Autocall software. ******** VERSION 2.041 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.04 --------------------------- Manual Call and Autocall have been updated to version 2.041 to solve logger parameters upload problems via modem. ******** VERSION 2.05 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.041 ---------------------------- Setup function and lookup table names now display correctly if using the complete length Senator upload cyclic/block memory fixed. Senator parameters window now clears the name string when entering new parameters 32768 was displayed instead of 0 when downloading 0 readings in Autocall View could cause a General Protection Fault when generating data from multiple files. Corrected exceedance values/time reporting in Autocall Last character entered on LoLog and pulsar parameters comment field now gets uploaded correctly. Satellite comms calibration value x/y reversed for compatibility with the Dos version of Radlog. New Features ------------ Logger time may now be uploaded that is different from the PC, and is not forced to be uploaded when the parameters are uploaded. Logger setup has now been restructured, and displays channel units, allows Autocall exceedance checking to be enabled/disabled for each channel, and splits Autocall call out and call in. Default unit types for each sensor type may now be selected in the system configuration Default unit types are now displayed in the update/create sensor types unit window All Modem GSM loggers have been separated from the Autocall modem logger list. All direct connection GSM loggers get displayed in the direct connect Autocall call list. Clear All button added to the Autocall error table. When System Configuration is updated a warning is displayed if other modules are running saying they will have to be restarted for changes to take effect. Screen saver active warning in Autocall is highlighted in red. Autocall file transducers may now be changed in the view software. Transducers are now displayed selected from the stored transducers list if they are present. Modem control strings now sent in 2 parts, default part then followed by user defined as separate commands to cater for modems that only accept short control strings. LoLog changed type changed to Lo-Log/1 LoLog/2/3/4 logger type added Autocall data files now contain the locations name as the file comment. System Configuration now has a selection for sorting zone, location, function set, and lookup table in identity or name order. A graph time axis text colour option has been added in view so a black background may be applied and the axis are still visible. Confirm window added when removing transducers. Logger list added in system setup to allow the default logger type to be selected. Default logger type selection added to system setup. Disk space now checked before doing a database update. The maximum amount of data that may be downloaded from a Senator logger in a single Autocall download has been limited, as these loggers have download time limit of 45 minutes. A Senator with a large amount of memory that is full of readings and requires a complete download may take more than one Autocall download to retrieve all the data. If an item is updated in the database that is set for Autocall, the Autocall will now call it again as soon as possible. Autocall error table now has a print option. Data summary now applies to the currently visible time region of the data. Exit confirmation windows have been removed from Convert, Setup, and Download/ Upload. They have been retained on Autocall and View. Database updated to v2.1 ******** VERSION 2.06 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.05 ---------------------------- Modems are now completely reset after use. When downloading a Senator (multi channel) logger in cyclic memory that has filled memory at least once, the channel ordering on displayed data could be displayed incorrectly. Master Satellite communications improved in Autocall. Autocall data conversion fixed for locations that have different number of data recordings for each channel. View graph printing modified. Fixed possible GPF when printing graph with statistics. View remove graph that contains text could cause GPF. Function set expansion fixed when expanding functions within a function. New Features ------------ When a comms error has been superseded by a good call in the Autocall error table, the error is now removed completely ( provided the date of the good call is the same as the date of the error ). Setup System Configuration now contains an id/name search option for Autocall call lists. Host export directory path added to System Configuration. Autocall reports error if sample rate is invalid i.e. if sample rate is <=0 or > 25hours. Autocall reports warning if record start time is not on a sample rate boundary referenced from midnight. Autocall reports error if the start time is earlier than that of the current stored recording. Autocall reports error if number of readings downloaded does not equal the number requested. Autocall reports error if address range received is not the address range requested. Autocall Last good call time is now displayed in modem call list, as well as next call time. Autocall error table now prints the logger name along with the error. Manual download/upload now allows loggers to be stopped ( Centurion, Sentry and Senator ). If Autocall does not require any data from a logger, the call is terminated without downloading any data, instead of requesting 0 readings which waists time. When the transducers for data are edited in the view software, a save confirm window is displayed to allow the new settings to be saved with the data. File handling modified for improved performance on Network Systems, where a common database is setup on the server. System Configuration now has a computer identity entry/selection field. Locations also have a computer identity selection field. This is for use on Network systems where a common database is accessed by a number of computers each running Autocall. The Autocall that is running on a particular PC will only make calls to loggers in the database with a computer ID that matches the computer ID set in the System Configuration for that particular computer. This allows multiple computers to Autocall and store data in the same database. A list of all computer IDs set on computers accessing a database are stored with the database, and this list is used in creating computer ID selection lists. The computer ID is also stored with function sets and lookup tables when they are created. This is to aid list sorting in future software releases. Data length added to graph time parameters and tabular data windows Location configuration modified to include pages for location configuration, logger configuration, and meter configuration, allowing meter readings to stored. System Configuration now has a volume calculation method selection. Use Trapezium to calculate the area under the graph ( method used on all previous Radlog DOS and Windows versions ), or Summation which adds the points together over the time period. For checking volumes against a meter reading using a digital logger channel, select the Summation method for a direct comparison. Autocall force call list now has sort by name or by identity option in system configuration. View now saves colour settings when Save Settings On Exit is selected. View now prints graphs with the selected background colour. Difference operator added to function sets and derived graphs. ******** VERSION 2.07 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.06 --------------------------- Download - when a Centurion logger with only channel 2 recording was downloaded, changing the transducers at time of download could cause a General Protection Fault. Download - data downloaded from a Senator logger that is in Block memory and Full, and stopped recording, may store data with channels swapped ( data correct but displayed on wrong channels ). Download - channel transducer window title displayed as 'test'. Autocall - If Senator in block memory and full then don't report bad pointer. Autocall - Export data filenames changed for ASCII and summary data. Filenames for Flow data now begin with 'F' and for Pressure data with 'P'. 'P' was used for all data types. Convert - when converting telephone files call frequencies entered as part days were not converted correctly i.e. a call frequency of 0.5 ( half a day ) was converted as 0. Call frequencies converted as 0 could then cause a General Protection Fault in Autocall. View - Dat, Min, Max, and Avg Generated Data could display incorrectly if created from a function set line that contains a math's operator '+', '-', '*', '/'. Data generated from function set lines with a math's operator of 'Graph Fn' is OK. The data was displayed as difference data producing data lines of much less magnitude than the data expected. New Features ------------ Sensor type selection now available on all transducer types, analogue and digital. Paknet now implemented for Manual and Autocall downloads. Save As option included in Location Configuration in the Setup software, to allow configurations to be copied between locations. ******** VERSION 2.08 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.07 --------------------------- Autocall - data downloaded from a Senator ( multi channel ) logger did not always get stored if channel 1 was not recording. Autocall - Satellite header ( non Radcom-Radcom ) cal and offset values modified to include the transducer cal and offset values. Function set expansion corrected for sets that contain sets e.g. a set of the form S1 = S2+S3 where S2 = S4+S5 and S3 = S6+S7 where S4 = L1, S5 = L2, S6 = L3 and S7 = L4 didn't work. New Features ------------ Setup - Units code for non Radcom-Radcom master satellite comms made editable for all logger types in logger configuration( was only editable when logger type was a Satellite type ). Logger ID now gets displayed on location configuration window title in Setup. When loggers are created in the database download data is now automatically set for gsm/radio loggers. Data conversion modified so logger time is Not now checked between files when converting archive data. Conversion strategy also modified to improve detection of 4-20mA type channels. Identities downloaded from loggers are now converted to upper case before being checked for their existence in the database. The database only allows upper case characters to be entered. Loggers programmed using the PSION could be given lower case identity strings, and these would previously have been unrecognised locations in Radlog For Windows. Generate negative pressure <= -0.1 option added to autogenerate data selection list, and implemented in Autocall for auto data generation. ******** VERSION 2.081 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.08 --------------------------- New Features ------------ Function set and Lookup table selection lists are now created from a list file that gets updated automatically when a function set is updated. This has little effect on systems running a local database, but should dramatically improve performance on network databases. System Configuration now allows an external line character to be entered for telephone numbers, for obtaining an external line from internal exchanges. Modem ports may be specified as either external or internal line types. If a call is being made on an internal line and the external line character doesn't exist at the start of the stored number, the external line character is inserted before dialling. If the line is external but the external line character exists at the start of the stored number, it is removed before dialling the number as it is not required. Autocall Continue/Abort window now automatically continues with Autocall enabled after 30 seconds if there is no user response. Generate Data option added to Autocall Options menu to force data generation. Save As option added to function sets in setup. ******** VERSION 2.082 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.081 ---------------------------- Location selection lists were not getting properly updated when a new zone was selected, adding the new zones locations to the currently displayed list. New Features ------------ View Autocall errors button added to Autocall start-up window so Autocall errors may be viewed without waiting for the Autocall to build its call list. View - Y axis = 0 auto scaling option added. When selected auto scaling will always ensure the value y=0 is included on the y axis. Setup - Logger time offset combo added to System Configuration. e.g. If the PC is in BST and loggers in GMT, setting the offset to 1 hour will stop Autocall logger time errors being reported for loggers that have the correct time in GMT. PC/Logger time difference in the downloaded parameters window now displays the logger time error relative to this offset. ******** VERSION 2.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.082 ---------------------------- Autocall NON Radcom Radcom satellite comms modified to prevent data header file being created when no data was downloaded. New Features ------------ Setup System Configuration has option added to specify how multi channel identities should be decoded. Options added for DOS compatible, Windows before version 2.1 compatible, and non compatible. The dos compatible only uses the last 4 digits stored, the windows before version 2.1 uses 7 digits unless a database with a 4/3 zone location format is used in which case a 6 digit identity is stored in the logger. The new non compatible version always stores the zone location identity as 7 digits. Convert - converts area comments as part of the location name. ******** VERSION 2.11 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.1 -------------------------- Bug fix in Autocall that reported 'different channel data lengths' when downloading an old centurion logger from near the end of ram. Bug fix in upload logger time. If uploading parameters it would always update the logger time as the PC time instead of the selected PC time offset selected on the logger time upload option. Delay inserted when calling a GSM logger in Manual and Autocall between receiving a carrier after dialling and sending a command to the logger. New Features ------------ Setup - Function set and Lookup table New option included which automatically finds the first unused identity. LoLog download modified in Manual Call and auto call to allow for new pressure and pressure/flow LoLogs. ******** VERSION 3.0 ******** Bug Fixes From version 2.11 --------------------------- Manual Call - Editing parameters for a Centurion logger could set the cal Y value to zero when changing channels. Autocall - After master satellite communications a Start address error was reported. The data was stored correctly but this error was erroneously stored in the error table. Autocall and Manual Call have been modified to work with modems that return incorrect response codes when ending a call ( i.e. US Robotics 33600 returns 'No Carrier' when ending a call, instead of the expected 'OK' ). New Features ------------ Setup - LoLog may now be configured with 2 channels to allow flow/pressure LoLogs to be entered. Setup - Power and Gas flow sensor types added Setup - Function sets now allow lookup tables to be applied to the resultant data. Graph types may also be specified for display when the set is selected in View. Setup - Feature added for changing the generate data time period for all function sets. Setup - The Autocall data list has been enhanced to display all loggers in the database. Loggers Not set for Autocall are displayed with a strikethrough. A list of all computer identities used in the location database is also displayed. Selecting an identity from the list will update the list with locations that have that computer identity. Setup - System Configuration now has a printer page setup window to allow print margins to be specified. Page headers and footers may also be specified. These print options are used on all printouts created within Radlog For Windows. View - Function set data is now displayed for the selected time period based on the length of the shortest file (i.e. data padding is not applied to the start of the data if the data does not exist ). View - When changing parameters the currently displayed time period is maintained ( previous versions always zoomed out to the full graph time span ). View - Y-Axis zoom using cursor lines implemented. View - New statistics windows for Power and Gas Flow sensor types added View - Graph options window added that allows a default graph window title to be entered that is displayed as the title for each graph window that is created. View - Option added to allow graph text and titles to be stored with data. These may be stored for Manual data, Archive data, and generated data. View - Option added to allow generated summary data ( Min, Max Avg etc ) to be displayed as bar type graph or as a line graph. View - When data is generated a list of any missing data is displayed to warn the user of data that has been padded. Autocall - May be now be configured to automatically update logger times when they are more than half a sample period adrift from the PC time. Autocall - Call list has been modified to allow multiple list items to be selected to force call. Selecting force call will then call all the selected items. The list now highlights which items will not be called ( items set for Autocall that do not have a comms port of the correct type open will not get called ) by displaying them with a strikethrough. Autocall - Now makes up to 3 attempts to perform each required task for a GSM logger that has called in. Autocall - Now stores any valid data received even if the download was not fully completed. This has been implemented for all call types. This will greatly improve the reliability of receiving data from GSM and Paknet loggers, which are both susceptible to losing the communications link during a large download ( due to the nature of the GSM and Paknet networks ). Autocall - Now contains a function select window to allow data for a single function set to be force generated, in addition to the global generate that previous existed. ******** VERSION 3.01 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.0 -------------------------- View - When generating function data, the complete time span requested was not always displayed when the data was being obtained from multiple recordings with data padding between recordings. View - Zoom window error message was incorrect when times were entered that were out of range. General - Real numbers were always expected to use '.' as the decimal point character. This resulted in unexpected value errors being displayed on systems where a different character was being for the decimal point e.g. ','. Setup - System Configuration modem control string and internal exchange character were not being stored after being modified. Manual Call - Time delay increased between commands sent to loggers. Some Centurion 2e and Senator loggers could not be downloaded/uploaded via a modem connection. Manual Call - LoLog and Pulsar parameters would not always upload if the comment field was left blank. Autocall - Paknet numbers could not be force called from the call status list. Autocall - Paknet numbers now display calling message on the Autocall comms status bars when being called. New Features ------------ OMS connection modified to allow up to 4 call connection times to be specified, and for the logon file to be specified for each connection time. ******** VERSION 3.02 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.01 --------------------------- Convert - Archive data files now convert Setup - Location configuration could lock when editing multiple locations View - Viewing large amounts of data ( > 32000 readings per channel ) now display correctly Function set lists containing many entries now display correctly ******** VERSION 3.03 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.02 --------------------------- Autocall - Update logger time option could effect current recording data file start record time Autocall - OMS satellite comms corrected so all data is transferred Setup - meter readings are now sorted in chronological order ******** VERSION 3.04 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.03 --------------------------- Autocall - Autocall could stop downloading loggers after a period of time View - White graph background would display as black in some versions of window 3.1/3.11 New Features ------------ Setup - Sensor Types may now be given a default missing data value. Previously missing data has always been replaced by the next data value downloaded. The System Configuration now allows a default padding value to be entered to be used instead of the next data value if required. View - Missing data may now be highlighted on the current graph. Blocks of missing data that have been set to the missing data value are highlighted by a dithered graph background ( a mixture of the graph colour and the graph background colour ). This is enabled by default but may be disabled in the graph options window. Manual/Autocall - Multilog logger is now supported for download and upload. Autocall - LoLogs may now be downloaded directly ( a Psion was previously required ). General - If a time or date field is cleared, the current time or date information is now redisplayed when leaving the field. ******** VERSION 3.05 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.04 --------------------------- Manual/Autocall - Multilog 4-20mA channels now stored correctly ( were treated as Flow ) New Features ------------ General - database updated to V2.03 General - LoLog Modem logger added to the software General - 2400 baud now selectable for Centurion and Senator loggers ( Only for use with new loggers that support this speed ). View - Data summary enhanced View - logger and function set memo now editable in View module View - progress bar now displayed for operations that take time Autocall - call status window now has a computer identity selection combo to allow calls to be forced for locations with a different computer identity. Current computer identity is now displayed as part of the Autocall main window title for clarity. Alarmin - updated and will now receive alarms from Multilogs. ******** VERSION 3.06 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.05 --------------------------- View - Grid did not print properly. Setup - Saving function sets that contain graphing functions and generate data could display warning but then prevent function from being saved. Alarm reporter - downloading data after an alarm could cause a program crash. New Features ------------ Selection windows have new improved selection lists with sort buttons, and moveable splitter bar where more than one list is displayed. Extended function sets have been implemented, allowing groups of function sets to be created. The path to the extended function sets is entered in System Configuration. If extended function sets are not enabled, function sets work in exactly the same manner as previous software versions. ******** VERSION 3.07 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.06 --------------------------- General - Selecting User Defined Transducer when updating transducers could cause a program crash. View - Selecting data for a specific channel now works correctly. Alarm Reporter - printing has been corrected, and dates of alarms could be reported incorrectly. Setup - deleting zones and locations corrected New Features ------------ Administration software now available to allow users to be created with passwords. These may then be copied to a new database path, such as A: for copying data to disk. View - ASCII Export added to data summary window so it may be imported into spreadsheets. ******** VERSION 3.08 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.07 --------------------------- General 32bit - Computers running NT4 in languages other than English could cause problems, such as not allowing Comms ports to open. View - Displaying generated data ( function sets ) that contain overlapping missing data could cause a program crash. Setup - 32bit database update could display erroneous error message about not enough disk space to perform the conversion. View - Function set names were not displayed on the graph if the function set has not been updated since V3.05 software. View - When started from the Radcom Pressure Reporter Software to display generated data with reference data it could crash. Manual Call - If user profile was set to enable Non-Autocall Upload, all uploads were prevented. Autocall - Function set names were not included in export types if the function set has not been updated since V3.05 software. View - WASIR export format corrected New Features ------------ General - Software Copy Protection Implemented. The software must be registered to allow it to run. Each installation of the software must registered. General - Centurion Event logger added General - local caching is now performed on the location database if the database is located on a different drive to the software e.g. a database on server being accessed by Radwin on a networked PC. This is to increase the speed of zone/location list creation, and Autocall call list creation. Setup - System Configuration modified so Manual Call, Auto Call, and Alarms, each have there own configuration pages Setup - System Configuration 'Database Configuration' modified so 'System' page only allows selection of database path, computer identity, and extended function set paths. An advanced button has been included to allow entry/deletion of items for these selections. The advanced window now also contains the Senator Identity decoding, and the volume calculation method options. Setup - System Configuration Computer ID now has a search option which searches the database for all currently used computer identities and updates the list to show these identities. ******** VERSION 3.09 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.08 --------------------------- Autocall - No longer reports random exceedance errors for Multilog Pseudo Channels. General - Comms timing adjusted when using an Infra Red Reader head. On fast computers running NT4 it was found that this type of comms may not always work. General - Software registration could fail after registration if the registration key was entered in upper case. Autocall - Will no longer try to download data when the logger is in waiting to record mode. Autocall - Modification made to storing the data length check in the Data's Header file. Autocall uses this as one of its checks for the integrity of a data file. This solves a rare problem that could cause the length check stored in the header file to be incorrect. ( NOTE: This problem would cause Autocall to download all data from a logger and store it in a new file for no apparent reason to the user. THE DATA IN THE OLD FILE IS STILL CORRECT AND VALID ). Manual Call - Download of last n hours data could cause a program crash. Setup - Computer Identity selection combo in location configuration did not always show the complete list of identities entered Setup - When Database path, Function set path, and computer identity were updated on the System Configuration advanced parameters window, the combo box selections for these in the System Configuration did not always show the complete list of items entered. New Features ------------ General - Cubic Meters/Day unit added Autocall - reports a data error when it is about to download all data due to a problem with the current data file. Setup - Copy/Delete data is now called Data Manager and has a feature added to view length information for a data file. It has a repair facility to allow a data file to be repaired. If Autocall does a complete download due to a data file problem, this feature may be used to fix the erroneous data file. The newly created file from the last Autocall download may then be deleted, and the next Autocall download will append to the repaired file. ******** VERSION 3.10 (21/06/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.09 --------------------------- Autocall - ASCII ( WATNET) export date time format was exported as ddmmyyssmmhh instead of ddmmyyhhmmss View - WATNET export date time format was exported as ddmmyyssmmhh instead of ddmmyyhhmmss Autocall - Wacks export format logger id must only use a 4 digit logger id, padded with 0's at start to make 6 digits New Features ------------ General - PRV controller implemented General - Units offset implemented so an offset may be applied to a Unit e.g. for converting temperature from degrees C to degrees F. ******** VERSION 3.11 (21/07/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.10 --------------------------- Manual - Interrogator will now download under windows NT. General - Communications improvements to solve rare problem where comms port could stop transmitting characters View - Data generated from function sets that contained data padding did not always highlight the padded data correctly View - Generated Total data is now displayed with Volume units if it was generated from Flow data. Manual - Loading saved Senator( Multi Channel ) header parameters did not work. Autocall - Call list last good call time sort was incorrect. It sorted on last call time ( not last good call time ). Autocall - If a corrupted lolog ( e.g. caused by lightening strike ) was downloaded it could cause the program to crash. New Features ------------ General - Database Updated Setup - System Configuration now allows a manual port to be specified for Paknet ( previously used the modem port ) General - Download configuration now includes a pager number to allow a pager to be dialled to wake-up a GSM module. Setup - System Configuration now allows a modem no carrier timeout period to be set ( was previously fixed at 45 seconds ) Setup - System Configuration now allows a Paknet no carrier timeout period to be set ( was previously fixed at 45 seconds ) Setup - System Configuration now allows a pager wakeup time to be set - the time required for a pager to answer and for a GSM module to come on line. View ( Meter Sizing ) - Display Meter Bands added to graph options. When meter sizing is enabled meter band information was always displayed on the normal graph. It is now optional. View - Logger parameters may now be displayed for the data files being viewed ( Centurion, Centurion Event, and PRV only at present ) View - new format statistics window to allow more information to be easily viewed View - Statistics now display Volume in the selected volume sensor units View - Flow statistics now display pipe length information, MNF/AVG, MNF/MAX, MNF Cost, and meter information General - function set statistics now include pipe length General - When generating data, if data padding is found at the start of a recording, a search is now made in the previous recording data file to try to find data to replace the padded data. View - Select location now has two data viewing options. Previously the only option was to select a single data file to view. A new option has been added to specify a data time period to view for a location. View - Flow statistics now displays a calculated meter reading. It searches the locations stored meter readings to find the most recent value applicable for the data region currently displayed. It then calculates what the reading will be for the end time of the data period displayed. If the calculation included missing data, the reading is highlighted in Red. An option is also provided to discard flow rates below a user defined level from the reading calculation. General - K format export file type added ( daily minimums ) General - registration number displayed on About screens General - Sentinel ( PRV Controller ) now available. Software may be configured by Radcom to include this functionality. Software may also be configured to include Only this functionality, for shipment with Sentinels. Autocall/Setup - Direct Logger connection now called Direct Logger/Psion. The Default baud rate for this port is now used as the Psion baud rate, which was previously fixed at 9600. Autocall - Call list now has a separate list for loggers connected via Paknet modems. Previously these were displayed in the modem list. View - Graph options, colours, fonts, and save options, have been combined into a notebook type window. View ( Meter Sizing ) - Graph options has new Summarise Frequency Distribution Tabular Data option. If enabled, the tabular data for a frequency distribution graph will only display values that have occurrences, filtering out all values with no occurrences. View ( Meter Sizing ) - Graph options has new Limit Frequency Data Bands option. If enabled, a value is entered to specify the maximum number of bands to be displayed on a frequency graph. If the frequency distribution results in a greater number of bands than that specified, the band width is adjusted so band width = max value - min value / max bands, and the data values sorted into the appropriate bands. ******** VERSION 3.12 (01/10/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.11 --------------------------- Autocall - 2 leading zeros added to start of Wacks export file logger id Autocall - Generating Wacks data would also generate Daily Minimum format data. Convert - Wacks and Daily Minimum function set autogenerate data flags did not get converted General - 4-20mA and 0-1V transducers did not store the entered name. General - Extended function sets entering function identity in selection lists could cause a program crash. Administration - Selecting Save on user profile window for an existing user without updating the password would double-encrypt the existing password preventing the user from the logging on. General - When a standard windows file Save/Save As/Open dialogue is displayed, the original working drive/directory is now restored when the window is removed. Manual - Identity did not get uploaded to PRV controller New Features ------------ Autocall - Enhancement to Paknet comms for ABB loggers to help with problems caused by pads that are incorrectly set Setup - Function sets changed 'Generate' button text to 'Global' to save confusion Setup - Apply Logger Calibration check box added to location configuration transducers. Previously applying logger calibration was always enabled, and could only be disabled by editing transducers on downloaded data. Setup - Print implemented for - Zone and Location lists, System Configuration, Location Setup, Loop table list, lookup tables, function set lists, and function sets. Administration - Editing data transducers in View may now be disabled View - Option included to specify if incomplete days should be displayed in the data summary. General - Function Sets and View's Derive Graph now have a 'power' operator under Constant, for raising data to the power of the constant value. General - Error messages are displayed for errors encountered when logging onto the software View - Performance graph included ( plots one graph against another e.g. flow against pressure ). Available as an optional extra. General - Merlin PRV controller added General - sentinel Plus PRV controller added View - File comments may now be edited on all file types. Setup/Autocall - Option included on System Configuration Autocall page to disable auto-answer on modems. ( If disabled this will prevent the software from receiving calls from loggers e.g. from GSM loggers calling in or from outstations, but will also prevent any other call from being answered if this is a security issue ). Setup - Autocall exceedance levels now default to disabled when entering new locations Autocall - Option added to remove all Forced Calls from the queue. General - Where lists contain a time and date, the date is now displayed before the time. Autocall - The Autocall call list may now be printed General - Map telephone numbers option included in System Configuration. This feature is for use where telephone numbers may vary depending on where the logger is being called from. The database will contain numbers that are valid from the normal calling location, but some numbers may need to change if a 'portable' computer is being used to download the loggers from a different location. This allows a text file containing a list of loggers ids and telephone numbers ( 2 columns ) to be selected to override the numbers stored in the database for those loggers that are incorrect. The files must be stored in a directory called 'telemap' from the database path e.g. 'c:\Radwin\data\telemap'. Mapping files may have any name, but must have a '.tel' extension. All files of this type found in this directory are displayed in the mapping file selection combo box in the System Configuration. The mapping file only needs to contain those numbers that need to be changed. ******** VERSION 3.12.1 - interim release ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.12 --------------------------- Manual - selecting a logger from the database that was set for modem would display in the download window as Direct connection. Setup - System Configuration 'Search Database' for computer identities now checks the database version is correct before performing the search. Previously a search done on an incorrect database version resulted in incorrect computer identities being displayed in the selection combo box. ******** VERSION 3.13 (04/11/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.12 --------------------------- View - Performance graph x-axis data values always displayed in base units e.g. litres/sec, but axis text may display other units e.g. litres/hour. Setup - data manager could cause a program crash. View - trying to load invalid files could cause a program crash if no graph window was currently displayed. Setup - System Configuration disable modem auto-answer status flag did not save properly. Autocall - 32Bit Psion comms could return a data start address error. Manual - Paknet did not dial correctly Autocall - Auto-generate data. If data didn't exist back far enough, data put in exported file was stored starting at requested date and ending some time in the past rather than the specified end data. View - Derive data. If the time periods of the graphs being used to derive a new graph do not overlap, the program could crash instead of displaying an error message. New Features ------------ View - graph option added to allow graphs to be masked so they are removed from the display but not actually deleted. View - Export option 'ASCII - All Graphs' included to export data for all graphs on the current graph window that have the same sample rate. The format is 'Date Time Data1 Data2 Data3 ....' and may be imported into spreadsheets such as Microsoft Excel. View - Save Graph option added. Saves the graphs displayed on the current graph window in data files under a user selected location. All graphs except masked graphs are stored. The data is stored for the currently displayed graph region. Graphs stored in this way have filenames starting with 'U'. General - Wirelog added View - Now displays Multilog and Wirelog parameters Setup - Map telephone number editor added under the File menu option Autocall - Force Call confirmation window now has option to download a selectable amount of data into a Manual file, allowing small chunks of data from multiple loggers to be downloaded using Autocalls multiple for download facilities. Autocall - If the logger start record time is found to be before the end of the last data stored, previously an error was reported and no data downloaded. This is a condition that should not occur for systems not running daylight saving time ( normal ). For systems running daylight saving time, putting the logger clock back in time and restarting the logger would cause this error. An error is now reported in the error table as before, but data is now downloaded in a new file. View - When exporting data the selected export directory is now retained for the next export. View - The missing data list for generated data may now be printed. General - Function Set and Lookup Table identities may now be alphanumeric. Previously these were just numeric. ******** VERSION 3.14 (11/11/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.13 --------------------------- Manual - PRV logging parameters did not upload Autocall - Scheduled calls did not store data correctly. New Features ------------- General - Software now not Case Sensitive when searching for directory names. When directory structures were copied using Microsoft Windows Explorer ( e.g. copying a complete database ) it was found that Explorer could change some characters in the names from upper to lower case and the Radwin software would not then find them. ******** VERSION 3.15 (29/11/99) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.14 --------------------------- Setup - System Configuration, Lists - Types Vibrating Wire, Sentinel, Merlin, and Sentinel Plus could not be disabled from appearing in logger type selection lists. Autocall - Printing an individual error did not work Autocall - Master/Satellite comms could crash after receiving data New Features ------------ General - Server paths may now be entered instead of having to map network drives e.g. '\\serv1\data' instead of having to map a network drive ( e.g. 'h:\' ) to '\\serv1' and then setting the path to 'h:\data'. View - Grid on 3D graph improved View - If the primary and secondary graph have the same Y-Axis scaling, both Y-Axis are now displayed to the same precision ( previously the secondary axis was display to 1 extra decimal place which was not necessary ). ******** VERSION 3.16 (15/03/00) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.15 --------------------------- View - If loading data caused a new graph window to be created, the program could crash. View - Data that is one continuous value may not immediately autoscale with other data of the same sensor type. It could be displayed on its own data axis until an operation was performed to force all graphs to re-scale themselves. View - Printing graph stats with a graph could cause a program crash New Features ------------ Manual - Upload speed increased for Lolog, Pulsar, Multilog, PRV Controllers, and Wirelog. General - Controllog added. General - SLI data export now allows 2 characters to be entered for the start of the generated data filename ( first 2 characters were previously fixed as 'AW' ). General - Logger channels may now be given individual names General - 4-20mA and 0-1V transducers now have units selection for entering the FSD values. General - A Sensor type may now be specified for the output of a function set. This is initially set to 'Default Sensor', which applies the sensor found for the first locations data within the function set ( which is how the sensor type has been obtained for previous software versions ). View - Now includes pipe pressure testing. Autocall - Autocall manager now has option to allow direct connection loggers to be automatically called. Autocall - Update logger time implemented on Multilog, Lologs, Vibrating Wire, and Controllog ( was only available on Centurion, Sentry, and Senator loggers ). Setup - File menu now has an option to update database telephone number STD codes. An old code and a new code are entered, and a search and replace operation is performed on the database to update the numbers ( if a number is found that starts with the old code, the old code is replaced by the new code ). View - Logger Parameters are now only available in the 32 Bit software. This is to limit the size of the 16 Bit software. Database updated to version 2.5. 3.16.1 View - If graph text is saved so it is positioned outside the full zoom region of the loaded data, it is displayed within the region. Autocall - Master Satellite transducers were stored incorrectly. ******** VERSION 3.17 (15/05/00) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.16 --------------------------- Manual - Pressure Transient data did not get stored in V3.16 Autocall - ABB Aquamaster caused the program to crash when storing data Alarm reporter - Could crash after receiving an alarm View - Function Set elements with graphing functions. If data didn't exist back far enough, the elements graph was displayed starting at the requested start date and ending at the start date + data length available, instead of the requested end date. Manual - Downloading Sentinel and Sentinel Plus controller parameters always produced header length download error. New Features ------------ General - A Unit type may now be specified for the output of a function set. This is initially set to 'Default Unit', which applies the current default unit for the specified Sensor type of the function set. General - Transducers window updated and Vibrating Wire sensor type added ******** VERSION 3.18 (27/06/00) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.17 --------------------------- Autocall - Would crash on start-up if auto clear errors was enabled in System Configuration. Autocall - exceedance errors were not always displayed correctly New Features ------------ General - 'TAP' (Telelocator Alphanumeric Protocol) paging service protocol implemented for pager wakeup. ******** VERSION 3.19 (14/09/00) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.18 --------------------------- Setup - GSM logger parameters start and stop date fields displayed as 01/01/70 when re-displayed after saving a year of 00. The correct date was actually stored and would be uploaded to the logger correctly, provided the parameters were not saved when the date was redisplayed as 01/01/70. Setup - Deleting 'U' files did not work Manual - Pressure Transient Logger Status battery capacity was displayed a factor of 10 too low General - Data generated by function sets and deriving graphs in view, did not always align data the same when the data was derived from data with different sample rate boundaries. Autocall - force calls did not update the last good call time in the call list. Autocall - multiple ports now check to make sure they are not trying to call the same telephone number. This was a problem with master satellite. Setup - It was not possible to create a Graphing Function element without specifying Dat, Min, Max, or Avg, as one of the graph types required. Manual - If the transducer information to be stored with data was changed before saving downloaded data, the meter bands information was not stored with the data for the new transducer selection. Autocall - Psion download did not always work Autocall - GSM upload options flags did not get cleared after being performed New Features ------------ Pegasus PRV controller added. Autocall, Manual Call - If a modem fails to respond after it receives an AT command, the command is now retried. This makes modem comms more reliable with problematic modems. View - Total added to Non-Flow graph statistics, and Daily Total added to Non-Flow data summary. Autocall/View - Function sets that include function sets with a multiply or divided maths operator, now perform the multiplication or division using that sets first element ( the multiply/divide was previously ignored and the sets first maths operator was used ). View - display data for time period now has All Channels option Alarm Receiver - now receives alarms from GSM centurions View - compatible with new Radcom Easy GIS for displaying data Alarm Receiver - compatible with new Radcom Easy GIS for reporting alarm occurrences ******** VERSION 3.19.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.19 --------------------------- Autocall - could crash on initialisation or when forcing calls after scheduled calls had been made. Autocall - summary export file fields now match those produced by the data summary in View. ******** VERSION 3.20 (22/01/01) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.19 --------------------------- General - Selecting a stored 0-1V or 4-20mA transducer did not load the correct FSD value if the units selected were not base units. Manual Call - Paknet Upload used the comms port set for Modem instead of Paknet in the System Configuration Setup - When changing function set statistics between auto-calculate and user defined, the pipe length field does not become editable. Manual Call - PRV controllers Time Control tables now displays the first position as 1 ( was 0 ). General - US units 'Feet' calibration value in 'units.usg' file changed from 3.2808 to 3.2802 Manual Call - Pulsar download type detection and calibration settings fixed. Autocall - Data exceedance time could be incorrect if the exceedance occurred on the first data value downloaded New Features ------------ View - New command line option added to allow multiple graphs to be overlaid when started from other software such as the Radcom Easy GIS. Manual Call - Secondary time control added to Pegasus parameters View - now works with new alarm profile for selecting sections of data for profiles. Setup - Function set configuration now has a 'Function Output' page instead of having to select the top line in the function elements list. This now includes a time window option to allow data to be calculated for the specified time period of the day only. Also a sample rate may be specified for the generated data. General - When data is generated for function sets, the data no longer has to come from recordings with the same sample rate. The software adjusts data sample rates where required so all data is included. The sample rate for the generated data is obtained from the latest recording included in the generated data (as before), or the specified sample rate if enabled in function set output configuration. Also a time window is applied to the data if enabled in function set output configuration. Setup - Locations may now be configured to be AutoCalled down to a frequency of once a minute. Previously this was once an hour. Setup - Autocall may now be configured to auto-generate data multiple times a day Setup/General - System Configuration now has new date format options to allow 4 digit years to be displayed if required throughout Radwin. View - Graph Options now includes 'Display Current Graph Data Summary'. If enabled, the data summary (Min,Max,Avg,Vol/Total) for the current graphs visible region is displayed below the graph. Also a calculated meter reading is displayed for the current cursor position. This calculated from the nearest entered meter reading to the current cursor position. If the calculated meter reading includes areas of missing data, it is highlighted in red. View - Graph Options now includes 'Adjust Visible Time Span To Time Boundaries'. If enabled, the time-axis is displayed starting at midnight on the first of the month, start of day, start hour, or start of minute etc depending on how much data is being viewed. Likewise, the axis length is displayed as a multiple of complete days, hours, minutes, or seconds. This also applies when zooming, the zoom region selected is automatically adjusted to display complete days etc. General - Only the main application window title now appears on the task bar. Previously the title of every window opened appeared on the task bar. ******** VERSION 3.21 (16/02/01) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.20 --------------------------- Manual Call/Autocall - Data Filenames could be incorrect ( contain a negative recording number ) for data downloaded from Sentry Compressed loggers if more than 128 separate recordings have been stored. Autocall - The last data reading downloaded from a Multilog recording in Event Mode could be incorrect if the Event channel has not received any recent pulses. View - Masked graphs were printed. View - Meter Name ( transducer name ) was incorrect in graph stats. General - Saving a 4-20mA or 0-1V transducer in the transducer list, saved the FSD value with the current units applied. If these were not base units, an incorrect value would be loaded when the transducer was selected from the list. View - If a data file that uses a user defined sensor type was copied from another computer, and that sensor type is not present on this computer, trying to edit the transducer could cause the View to crash. View - Mask graph option was not disabled when no graphs were displayed. Could cause view to crash if selected with no graphs. General - Windows ME can bring other open applications in front of the current Radwin application when closing dialogs within the Radwin software ( 95,98, NT4, 2000 pro are not affected ). To overcome this problem, the file 'Radwinme.sys' is provided on the install disks. When this file is present, titles of each open window appears on the task bar ( not just the main application title ), as per Radwin 3.19 and before. If this file is removed, only the application title appears on the task bar, but this will cause problems under windows ME. View - Meter sizing graphs were not scaled correctly when overlaid. View - Time Parameters allowed a sample rate of 00:00:00 to be entered which would cause view to crash. This is now treated as a sample rate of 24 hours. View/Autocall - generated data from data files that start with padded data could display as constant values New Features ------------ Manual Call - Lolog parameters modified to allow 1,5,10,15, and 30 second sample rates for NEW Lologs. ******** VERSION 3.22 (27/07/01) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.21 --------------------------- Alarm Receiver - Could report a high profile exceedance as a low profile exceedance View - Parameters sample rate is displayed using a time field. This was being displayed in the default system format, which if not set to 24hour clock would display a confusing sample rate e.g. 15 min sample rate could get displayed as 12:15 am instead of 00:15:00. Setup - If a location was deleted, it could not be re-created without removing the directory first. View - Occasionally a graph may be displayed that has only 1 value displayed on the Y-Axis. View - If print graph stats was enabled and 2 graphs were loaded and the first graph removed, printing could crash. View - Meter reading and name was not displayed in graph statistics for flow graphs obtained by loading data for a time period via location select. Setup - Function sets 'Save As' crashes Alarm Receiver - could crash if one graph was displayed and then it was replaced by another. Download data had to be disabled to prevent this. New Features ------------ View - Option 'Display Initial Data Padding' included. When data for a time period is selected, and data is not available from the requested start date, if this option is not set, data is only displayed from the time when data is available ( as per previous versions of View ). If this option is set, padded data is included at the start so the displayed time span is that requested. View - additional command line options added for displaying data from other software Setup - when a new logger is created in the database, channel 1 is now defaulted to a pressure type. Setup - new command line option added to allow function set statistics to be updated via an external update file. View - Pipe test now displays the required N1 and N2 values in the report. View - Graph summary below graph always displayed the volume in litres instead of the selected volume units. Autocall/Setup - New Satellite type added. Original satellite now called Satellite PC (Radlog DOS), as this used 4 digit logger identities to be compatible with the Radlog DOS software. The new satellite type is called Satellite PC, and uses 7 digit logger identities. View - 'Enable Live Update' check box has been added to the load data file select window. If enabled, the graph is automatically updated if the selected data changes i.e. may be used to monitor archive data downloaded by Autocall, creating a SCADA type system. Autocall - Radlink block download implemented. Setup/Autocall - Logger Autocall download frequency may now be specified in seconds. Useful when used with live graph update with fast sample rates for Step Testing etc. Setup/View - 'Sum' type graph may now be specified in function sets. This creates a running total type graph, i.e. data point = data value + 'sum of previous data values' ******** VERSION 3.23 (03/10/01) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.22 --------------------------- Transient View - Graph Time parameters would not allow a graph to be moved in time. New Features ------------ General - Vibrating wire logger may now have modem connection types. View - Senator parameters may now be viewed. Setup - Location configuration now has a button to display last known logger parameters. It finds the last data file downloaded for the location ( Archive or Manual ) and displays the logger parameters from that download ( not available for lolog or pulsar yet ). General - Logger parameters windows now display the logger time as well as the logger time error. View - Lolog-Compressed Data parameters may now be viewed. View - Pressure Transient Centurion parameters may now be viewed. ******** VERSION 3.24 (03/12/01) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.23 --------------------------- View - Live Update scaled all graphs being updated with the same Y-Axis scaling regardless of sensor type. View - Modifying Graph Parameters during a Live Update could cause View to crash. Setup - Telephone mapping files could not be created unless the directory 'telemap' had already been manually created under the database path. View - displaying a 'Sum' ( running total ) type graph from a function set could cause a crash if it was Flow data. Manual Call - If a Multilog or Vibrating Wire logger had been stopped and then downloaded, the displayed data end time was the stop time stored in the logger ( which the logger did not update ). In this case the stop time should be calculated from the loggers start time. Autocall - Manual download option did an archive download. Manual Call - 'Vibrating Wire Period' transducer did not get stored as the transducer type for the data when it was set in the database for that location. New Features ------------ Manual Call - Restart Recordings removed from Multilog upload options to save confusion Manual Call - Multilog upload options now split into simple and advanced. The new simple upload method provides less upload options allowing simpler operation of the basic logger features. View - Live update will now update graphs with a modified sample rate e.g. display a graph for live update, adjust the sample rate in Graph Parameters, and updates to the graph will now display with this modified sample rate. General - Multilog GSM logger added. General - Telephone numbers may now include the additional characters ';', '!', 'W', '@', 'R', '#', and '*'. View - Y-Axis units are now displayed vertically on the graph axis. If all graphs displayed have the same units, only one set of Y-Axis values are now displayed. Setup - Update Zone now has a Global option to allow the computer identity of all locations within the selected zone to be updated. Setup - Location 'Save AS' now allows locations to be saved to a different zone. Autocall - If a logger is 'waiting to record', an error is put in the error table and data is not downloaded if it is an archive download. View - Graph title format modified, and now includes the selected file number when viewing data files. Setup - Data Manager now has a print button to allow the list of files for a location to be printed View - Derive Graph now has 'Output' options. This allows lookup tables, time windows, sensor types, and data types to be specified for the derived graph. Manual Call - Pegasus parameters may now be printed ******** VERSION 3.24.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.24 --------------------------- Manual Call - would crash when uploading parameters to a Senator ( multi channel ) logger. ******** VERSION 3.25 (18/03/02) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.24.1 ----------------------------- Autocall - If a logger was in a 'Waiting To Record' state, a logger time error could get reported along with the waiting to record error. View - A small discrepancy was displayed between the graph stats volume and the summary volume below the graph. Manual Call - The start time displayed for Multilog secondary recording data could be incorrect if the logger was in cyclic memory and had cycled round. The data start time would always be displayed as the start record time. View - If graph text was saved and the Y-Axis was not in base units ( e.g. Flow - Cubic Meters/Day and base units are Litres/Sec ), the text would move on the graph when it was re-loaded. Setup - Function set Save AS only allowed Numeric Identities to be entered instead of Alpha Numeric. ManualCall/Autocall - GSM Power window duration was incorrect if the start time passed through midnight New Features ------------ General - All software is now easier to translate to other languages using the new translation software. The word file formats have changed, and a lot of common words exist in a single file and require translation only once. A new language selection program has also been created to allow the language the software runs in to be selected if more than one language exists on the computer. The old word files '.wrd', '.err', and '.hlb' are no longer valid. The new Translator program must be used to translate the new type of files. Setup - The function set 'Autogenerate Data Type' selection window has been improved so the available types are shown in a list, along with the filename and file path that will get created. General - The 'Autogenerate Data Type' 'ASCII Data' has been renamed to 'ASCII Data (DOS Filename)'. This produces ASCII data with a filename that only contains three of the four digits from the function set identity ( as per original Radlog DOS software ). A new export type, 'ASCII Data' has been included that produces the same output as the dos format, but the filename contains all 4 digits from the function set identity. Autocall - if a logger clock needs updating, and the automatic update option is enabled, a Logger time error is put in the error list, but is not displayed as an active error 'Red' because it has been automatically corrected. These would previously have been displayed as active even though they had been automatically corrected. Setup - larger meter reading values may now be entered Autocall - Data generation has been removed from Autocall. Data Generator - new program to generate data. ******** VERSION 3.26 (08/08/02) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.25 --------------------------- Autocall - Port function and baud rate list did not display the port type or baud rate for all ports Autocall - open port error displayed %S instead of the port name Manual Call - if upload time was selected on its own in 'Simple' mode, general logger parameters would get uploaded as well. Autocall - Multilog GSM icon displayed as centurion in call list. Autocall - monitoring for database update didn't work. The call list is now updated when changes are made to the database. General - transducers: transducer name prompt said 'OK' instead of 'Name:' Alarm Receiver - alarm list did not always update when an alarm was received, but forcing it to recreate the list by changing the audit settings caused the alarm to be displayed. Also when an alarm was acknowledged, it was still displayed if the configuration was set to display only active alarms, or if the time of the alarm was outside the audit time span selected. View - If a graph window was maximised and opening another graph caused a new graph window to be created, view could crash or not display a graph on the new graph window. New Features ------------ General - DATABASE UPDATED to allow for future loggers with up to 16 channels. General - Multilog Plus and Multilog Plus GSM loggers added. Autocall - GSM loggers with time windows may be automatically called. If a GSM logger has Autocall enabled in the database, it will get called like any other logger, and provided it is on line data will be downloaded as normal. GSM loggers are still able to call in regardless of the Autocall enable setting in the database. Manual Call - Logger time update now allowed on Lolog compressed Autocall/General - Autocall makes all calls based on LOGGER TIME to simplify GSM logger power windows - previously it was PC time. Logger time is set in the 'Setup' 'System Configuration, and is set as a time relative to the PC time, such as PC time -1 hour. The time in loggers should not change with daylight saving. In winter in the UK, the time standard is GMT and the logger time should be set to PC time. In summer when the time standard is BST ( = GMT+1hour), the logger time setting should be PC Time -1 hour, which is the conversion back to GMT. When a change in daylight saving occurs, the Logger Time setting in the System Configuration should be updated accordingly. All logger GSM time windows programmed in the loggers are based on the Logger Time, so setting up is now much simpler with everything working on the same time standard. Setup - Channel names are now printed with a location. Autocall - if a Multilog channel is in event mode and is waiting for data not all the expected data will get downloaded. A message is now put in the error table if not all the expected data could be downloaded. Setup - System Configuration/Autocall - Global synchronise GSM clocks added. If set this will synchronise the loggers GSM clock every time Autocall downloads the logger. This will maintain accurate call in times. Autocall/Alarm Receiver/Alarm Programmer/Data Generator/Database Export - Now have a start menu for easily starting other parts of Radwin Autocall - logger time error in minutes is now displayed in the error table Autocall - Error list and error list print now includes location names Alarm Programmer - Up to 10 sets of alarm parameters my now be saved for each location, to allow seasonal alarm information to be recalled and uploaded to loggers. ******** VERSION 3.26.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.26 --------------------------- Autocall - Under Win95 tables that are more than 1 page long may not print. Autocall - All Satellite types request more than 10 channels. Only the 'Satellite PC' may request the full 16. ******** VERSION 3.27 (17/03/03) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.26.1 ----------------------------- General - When users log onto Radwin software ( created by administration software ) and use the START menus within the software, the user logon information is now passed correctly to the program being started so the user does not need to log onto it - this did not work properly with version 4.26 software. Autocall - User profile options set in administration were ignored. Alarm Receiver - User profile options set in administration were ignored. Administration - Generate Data option removed from Autocall profile as this is now done by the Data Generator software. Manual Call - Pegasus tables were not sorted properly before upload View - Displaying the file selection list after selecting a Zone and Location would sometimes crash. Data Generator - exported ASCII data files would import into excel with a blank line between each row of data. Autocall - if a change is made to the database while the call list window is displayed, selecting items for download or sorting the lists could cause a crash. Database update - channels names did not get copied into the new database View - Live update modified so it will keep updating when the recordings file number increments i.e. with large amounts of data for a single recording Manual Call - GSM parameters cannot be uploaded to a logger that is not in the database. The GSM upload option is now greyed out if the logger is not in the database. View - Pipe test result pressure values were always displayed in base units ( i.e. meters head ). These are now displayed in the selected pressure units. Autocall - Data Exceedance time and value were not printed with the Autocall error table. Alarm Receiver - times of alarms were displayed in GMT Alarm Programmer - Multilog Plus alarm occurrences download did not work New Features ------------ Database Updated to allow Alarm Receiver to send SMS Text messages. This software is able to read old database versions, but changes to the database may only be made after selecting update database in Setup. Administration - Profile now has an invert selection button to make it easier to select options. Administration/Data Generator - Data Generator may now be enabled/disabled in the administration software Administration/Alarm Programmer - Alarm Programmer options included in the administration software Alarm Receiver - Now has an option to select an alarm and view data for a selected time period. Data Generator/Setup - SLI2 data format included in function sets autogenerate types - similar to SLI but has meter reference in the title instead of zone location information. Setup - Function Sets Autogenerate data page. When a format is double clicked to allow it to be enabled/configured, an example has been added which displays an example of the file format that will be generated. Autocall - DTR line is now toggled to ensure the line is dropped on incomming calls due to some networks not dropping the line when the originator has ended the call. General - Multilog SMS logger added. Setup - System Configuration - Autocall - SMS modem port type added. When selected an SMS Text message Compatible modem must be connected Autocall - unprocessed SMS message window added. Displays all unprocessed messages received. Displays unprocessed logger data messages ( these will get processed when the logger is added to the database ), logger alarm messages ( these will get processed by Alarm Receiver ), and text messages. A reply option is available to repy to received text messages, and also a new button to send new text messages. Setup/General - a phone book has been added to setup where phone numbers can be stored. Setup/Alarm Receiver - Phone book entries may be selected to be called by the Alarm Receiver when an alarm occurs. It will send an SMS Text message to the selected numbers specifying the alarm. These may be set per logger, or per zone using the Update Zone 'Global' option. Setup - System Configuration - compare last n digits of an SMS number added. This is the number of digits of an incoming SMS Text number that should be compared with database numbers to find the logger identity. The comparison should exclude international and national calling codes. Setup - System Configuration - Autocall page now has a 'check for new SMS messages frequency' option. View Data Summary Export - data units are now included in column titles in exported file e.g. for data in Litres/Sec, 'Min' has been changed to 'Min Litres/Sec' etc. Autocall/Setup - call list may now display the time of the last stored data value. This is enabled in Setup/SystemConfig/Autocall, and may also be enabled within Autocall with the Autocall manager. Setup/Autocall - Option added in System Configuration/Autocall to disable Autocall from automatically updating its call lists when any changes are made to the database. Remote Autocall - Remote Autocall could not communicate with Autocall if the current user does not have 'write' permission set for the database path folder. A new folder, '\allusers', is now created off the database path that the user must have 'write' permission set for Remote Autocall to work. This change allows read only permission to be set on the main database path, with 'write' permission only needed on this one sub-directory. Setup/General - GSM/SMS call times table now replaced by a list with double click to edit the information Export - GSM call times/numbers and power windows may now be exported Setup/General - Maximum modem pager wakeup time selection increased from 240 seconds to 360 seconds. Export - 'Autocall call time' included which exports the call time with no date for daily call time comparison. GSM/SMS tel numbers - Call numbers may now be selected from the phone book. View - Line thickness and styles may be selected for graph lines, grid lines and limit lines. Also a current and secondary line style may be enabled, which can be used to always highlight the current or secondary graphs e.g. by assigning them a thicker line or different style to make them more prominent. View - select data file window now has a check box to select if to load stored graph text. Previously, stored text was always loaded if available. View - Graph options now allow the graph title format to be configured. Alarm Programmer - Alarm phone numbers may be selected from the phone book. General - All GSM loggers now allow 19200 Baud to be selected with modem connection. This is to allow modems that will only communicate to the PC at 19200 ( e.g. some mobile phones ) to be used. Remote Alarm Receiver - new version of Alarm Receiver that has all the functionality of Alarm Receiver for viewing alarms but without comms. Allows network users to view and process incoming alarms. ******** VERSION 3.27.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.27 ---------------------------- Autocall - A file 'Seek' error could be displayed if a number of unprocessed SMS messages for a single location were processed out of order if the loggers first SMS message for the recording had not been processed. ******** VERSION 3.28 (01/05/03) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.27 ---------------------------- Setup - optimise database would show an 'old database version warning' after doing a database update and then shutdown Autocall when OK was selected. Setup - Error messages when deleting function groups related to zone and locations instead of function groups and function sets View - percentages displayed on the bands distribution graphs could vary from those in the tabular data table due to rounding errors New Features ------------ Alarm Receiver - Decoding of ASCII message made less critical on whole string so slight corruption may now not cause the alarm message to get rejected. General - Setup now allows a list of office region and names to be entered for use in limiting the number of zones/locations displayed in lists on networked systems. These names may be assigned to locations in the database, and also to the System Configuration. Zones/Locations are only displayed in lists where one of the office selections in the System Configuration matches one of the office selections in the location. This selection applies to all parts of Radwin including Remote Autocall and Remote Alarm Receiver, but excludes 'Autocall' and 'Alarm Receiver', which would normally be running on a server in a networked system. Setup - A check is now made on the telephone number entered for all non 'Direct Connection' loggers to make sure they are unique. An error is displayed if a duplicate number is found, and the duplicates location identity is displayed. The duplicate number can still be stored if required but will cause this error to be displayed each time. General GSM Comms - A four second delay has been introduced for GSM, Paging Service, and Pager Wakeup loggers after a connection is made to the logger after dialling. This is because both ends do not always get the connect at the same time, so this delay before sending a command ensures the logger has also received a connect message from its modem, so it can receive the command. General - Pegasus GSM logger added. This is the same as normal Pegasus but when selected the above four second delay is applied after the modem connects. Manual Call - Multilog SMS can now upload a litres/pulse cal value for use by Radlink. View - 'Load Graph Text' is now an option in 'graph options' to set the default state of load graph text on the select 'data file' window. ******** VERSION 3.29 (05/08/03) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.28 ---------------------------- Manual Call - Multilog Plus only downloaded a maximum of 8 channels of data instead of 16. Autocall/Manual Call - Command to synchronise Radio Clock modified to overcome firmware problem in Multilog type loggers. Alarm Receiver/Remote Autocall - time stamp on force download request is PC time instead of logger time. Manual Call - Load button did not Load Multilig GSM logging parameters that were created in the Setup Software under location configuration. Manual Call - pressure/pressure lolog params now display as pressure/pressure and not pressure/flow Setup - Overwrite warning prompt was not displayed when a location was modified Autocall - could crash when a location was updated in the database if 'Refresh when database changes' was enabled in System Configuration. Setup - Copy data could get disk full message when the disk wasn't full. New Features ------------ Autocall - When SMS messages are received and processed, a text log file is created in the smsarchive directory for each originating message tel number. Autocall - A Summary Export button has been included on the unprocessed message list to allow unprocessed message parameters to be exported to a text file for examination. Autocall - The unprocessed message list now allows sorting. Alarm Programmer - Mulilog Plus now downloads all 16 channels alarm levels for updated Multilog Plus ( original logger only allowed alarms on channels 1-4 ) Setup/Autocall - System Configuration/Autocall now has a selection for the Autocall time standard. This may be either 'Logger Time' or 'PC Time'. If PC Time is selected the current PC Time is used, which will include any daylight saving time that currently applies. When set to 'Logger Time' Autocall will make its scheduled calls based on the Logger Time specified in System Configuration, which may be configured to remove daylight saving. 'Logger Time' is the default setting. Autocall versions prior to V3.26 made the calls based on PC Time, so select 'PC Time' to emulate these older versions. Alarm Receiver - The channel name is now included in SMS messages that are sent out which may contain information like alarm levels. Manual Call - Multilog GSM, Muiltilog SMS, and MultilogPlus GSM now display the GSM clock with the parameters. ******** VERSION 3.30 (18/11/03) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.29 ---------------------------- Autocall - SMS modem timeout error is only created once in the error table now, with each new occurrence of the error updating the existing errors time - all old occurrences from previous software will remain until automatically deleted due to age or are manually deleted. Setup - if a drive letter entered in an export path doesn't exist, the export path stored got corrupted. View - data summary MLD figure could be wrong for generated data with automatic statistics set where the population total calculated is negative Autocall - GSM loggers that called in did not do a time update if required when update time was selected in Autocall. Autocall - Unprocessed SMS list delete button did not work Alarm Programmer - selecting an SMS logger with direct connection wouldn't download or upload. New Features ------------ Setup/DataGenerator - WIMS export format added Setup - Locations may now be selected to generate data without the need to use function sets. Setup - Zone global update now includes a data generation period page, and each page has an enable button to select which parameters should be globally updated. DataGenerator - now puts entries in the error log for files that are suspect ( data length check between header and data file doesn't match - files may be repaired in data manager in setup ) DataGenerator - now puts entries in error log if the export file could not be created DataGenerator - Now generates location data and has a location select window to allow single locations to be force generated DataGenerator - main window now displays a list of all the data generated, indicating when it was generated, type of data, data length, where it was stored etc. An item in this list may be double clicked to force it to be re-generated. Items displayed in red indicate there may be a problem with the data and error log should be viewed. Setup - System Configuration now has a function identity length selection. It is defaulted to a length of 4 for compatibility with old software, but may be set to 7. Changing an old system from 4 to 7 digits shouldn't cause any problems, but export filenames may change a little ( names padded with underscore may change to be being padded with zeros ). General - spaces are now allowed in directory paths - previously they were converted to underscores. Export - now has merge options to allow parts of, or complete databases to be merged, and also data files to be copied and/or merged. This can also be used to merge data from a Pocket PC into Radwin using 'MS Active Sync' 'synchronise files'. Radwin Database on PPC needs to be in the PPC 'My Documents' folder ( same folder that contains Business/Personal/Templates ) so 'Files' 'Sync' option of Active Sync will copy the database onto the PC. e.g. set database path on PPC to '\My Documents\Radwin\Data', which will then appear in 'My Documents\Pocket_PC My Documents\Radwin\Data' on the PC when synchronised. This path can then be used as the source for merging into the current Radwin database. Setup/DataGenerator - System Configuration Export now has option to select the file types that should be used to generate data. The default is 'Archive files' ( same as old software ), but 'Manual files', 'User files' or 'Import files' may be selected ( if both archive and manual are selected data is selected from archive files first and remaining data obtained from manual files if available ). View - Loading data using 'function sets' or 'location data by time' now has an option to select the file types that should be used to generate data. The default setting for this is that selected in System Configuration export for data generation. Manual Call - upload logger time for Multilog GSM and Multilog Plus GSM now also synchronises the gsm clock. General - Multilog SMS may now be selected with a normal modem connection so it may be called during a power window. Autocall - gsm loggers that get an automatic time update when required also now get the gsm clock automatically updated at the same time Setup/View - an option has been added on the 'location configuration' units/levels' page - 'Display Exceedances as Limit Lines in View'. If selected the exceedance levels set for this location will be automatically loaded as the limit levels in View, and displayed if the exceedance level is enabled. Autocall - unprocessed message list now allows multiple items to be selected and deleted Export - now has an option to import ASCII data. Any ASCII data format may be imported provided the readings are stored in columns. The imported data is stored in 'I' files. Export - now has a rename zone and a rename location option. This duplicates the selected location, or all locations within a zone. This creates new database entries under the new identities and also copies all data and configuration files associated with each location. ******** VERSION 3.31 (30/01/04) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.30 ---------------------------- Autocall - If a force download was performed on an SMS logger requesting the latest data via SMS, it was possible that the logger could get restarted. Alarm Programmer - User Defined Sensor names were displayed as 'Invalid Sensor'. New Features ------------ Export - 'Export Database As ASCII' now allows the memo field to be exported. Export - Merge data export now has options to Export to 'Zip' file and 'Zip and Email' to automatically zip up a database and email it. Export - Merge data import now has an option to Import from a database contained within a 'Zip' file, and to find and unzip data within emails Export - Merge data from email may be scheduled to automatically scan emails for new data Setup - Phonebook now allows email address as well as phone numbers to be entered Alarm Receiver - may now pass on alarm occurrences by email in addition to SMS text messages Setup - Location Text Alert now has the option to select SMS and/or email to pass on alarm messages. ******** VERSION 3.32 (17/05/04) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.31 ---------------------------- View - option 'Display Initial Data Padding' was always selected. Autocall - corrupt junk SMS messages received with very long invalid phone numbers could cause a crash. Manual Call - If upload time was selected on its own for a Multilog SMS with SMS Modem connection the upload time message was not sent. General - selecting a number from the phone book did not work always work Setup - Location duplicate telephone number check now checks the last n digits where n is the value specified in System Configuration for number comparisons, instead of comparing the whole number. Previously the same number could be entered in local and international format and would not flag up as duplicate. This check is now done on all connection types. Setup - Function set names did not always get displayed in the name field when editing existing function sets. Data Generator - could crash if generating data for a location (not function set) where data for the channel didn't exist. New Features ------------ Setup - System Configuration/Export now has a selection to define the time period of a day - '00:00:00+sample to 00:00:00'(default) or 00:00:00 to 00:00:00-sample i.e. for a 15 minute sample period data should be generated from 00:00:15 to 00:00:00 or 00:00:00 to 23:45:00. Data Generator - generates data based on the day time period setting. View - Function and data time select windows now have the day time period selection - defaults to selection in System Configuration export. Setup - ABB Aquamaster S included - ABB customer file required Autocall - ABB Aquamaster S may now be downloaded - ABB customer file and Autocall x.xxABB (special ABB enabled version) required. Setup - 'Search Function Sets For Logger ID' option added. This allows a location to be selected, and all function sets are then searched and a list of functions reliant on this location is displayed. Setup - Location config now has an AutoDatabaseExport page to allow this locations data to automatically sent to an email address at scheduled times. Data requests may also be scheduled to obtain data via email. Setup - Email Passwords may now be entered ( File / Email Passwords... ). Passwords may be assigned to locations in the AutoDatabaseExport page for requests. Data requests are sent with the password list, and data is only returned if the sent password list contains a password match for the requested location if passwords are enabled. Export - Now supports email requests to allow a request for data to be sent via email. Export - Export data by email may be scheduled ( for locations enabled in AutoDatabaseExport page of location setup ) to automatically send data by email. Export - Automatic processing of email data requests may be scheduled. Setup/Manual - Battery life warning now displayed if calculated battery useage used by power windows exceeds 120 minutes. Manual - Multilog SMS now displays the number of messages that will be sent per day based on the logger configuration before upload Autocall - Unprocessed sms list now displays the data end time for data messages instead of the message time, and the channel numbers are displayed for the data Autocall - Unprocessed sms list 'export' decodes data messages as before, but now displays other messages as text Autocall - Now keeps a text log of SMS messages sent - 'sentsms.txt' in 'smsarchive' folder under database path General - Multilog GSM/SMS logger added Setup - The default SLI filename characters may now be specified in System Configuration/Export. 'AW' was previously the fixed default and had to be changed for all new function sets/locations if something different was required. Translator - Now has 'print preview' option under the file menu to allow printing of word lists. Translator - Highlights all items in Red where the translated text is the same as the English i.e. these words probably need translating. Will help in looking for new words added in new software. Autocall - Now does a battery percentage check for Multilog as well as the battery low flag check. If the capacity falls below 15 percent a low battery warning is created in the error table. Autocall - The validity period for an SMS logger command message being sent to a logger has been reduced to 1 day, after which time the service provider should delete the message if undelivered. This is to try to prevent 'missing' sms command messages arriving at the logger days after they were sent. General - transducer windows now have an export button to export the transducer list to an ASCII file Setup - Function Sets - Expand Fn Elements button has been added to the elements page. This expands all function set elements included in the current function set so the function may be viewed as it will be processed. Setup - 'Auto Generate Data' Example Button now enabled for 'Summary Data' and Summary Data >= 0' export types. Data Generator - Error table improved. View - Graphs that have Live Update enabled are displayed with red graph numbers on the cursor/graph toolbar ******** VERSION 3.32.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.32 ---------------------------- View - Could crash loading graphs for a time period (function sets and logger data). ******** VERSION 3.33 (16/07/04) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.32.1 ----------------------------- View - The meter Q lines that are displayed on frequency distribution graphs were displayed slightly offset from there actual value View - When frequency graphs were printed the x-axis text could get overlapped. Manual Wizard - The time was always uploaded to the logger as PC time and did not apply the logger time offset entered in System Configuration. Alarm Programmer - units were not always displayed correctly Manual Wizard - Did not update the database if the database path was not local. New Features ------------ Setup/View - Day time period selection has been increased from '00:00:00+sample to 00:00:00'(default) or 00:00:00 to 00:00:00-sample to include all 1 hour boundaries during the day to allow more flexible data reporting and exporting. View - Data summary now uses the specified day period Setup/Database Export - System Configuration now has a new page, Database Export/Import. This allows the database export program to be configured. This now includes auto import of data, allowing the selected types to be automatically imported at the entered time intervals from the specified directories. The configuration screen that was displayed whenever Database Export was started has now been removed as the settings are taken from the system configuration, but they can still be temporarliy modified by selecting the configuration option from the options menu. Setup/Data Generator - An email address may now be selected from the phone book when export directories are entered in System Configuration/Data Generator(previously called System Configuration/Export). If the email selection is enabled, the data will generated in the entered directory, and then emailed to the selected email address. General - Multilog GSM/SMS renamed to Mulilog Flash GSM/SMS General - Lolog Flash added Manual Wizard - Lolog's now default to Autocall disabled. ******** VERSION 3.33.1 ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.33 --------------------------- Database Export - Export email data request and automatic scheduled tasks did not work. ******** VERSION 3.34 (24/11/04) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.33 --------------------------- General - If the local database (created when the database path is remote) was read only - which should not normally be possible, the software could hang. The software now tries to remove the read only permission from these files. When OK is selected on Setup/System Configuration an error is now displayed if there is still problem with the local database. View - Multilog SMS parameters were displayed for Lolog Flash data. General - If a Multilog was downloaded that only had pseudo channels recording ( no main channels ) invalid sensor type would be displayed on data Autocall - could crash when sending a remote request SMS update command (from Remote Autocall) Autocall - Unprocessed SMS message list did not sort on time properly. Export - could crash when importing an SMS Data emial that looked like a data message but was not. The export now occurs only at the specified time, or immediately if data has not been sent before and the start time is prior to the current time, or if an export time was missed. Alarm Programmer - when programming alarms via SMS messages, it now prompts for the loggers sample rate. The sample rate obtained from the last SMS data message received is displayed, but the user may select a different value if it is incorrect. Previously the sample rate was always assumed to be 15 minutes, which produced incorrect upload alarm levels if the sample rate was not 15 minutes. Manual Wizard - Sentry loggers have no stop time but was selectable. Sentry Flow should not allow pulse power to be entered. RadwinLite - always displayed 6 decimal places in tabular data - now normally 3 RadwinLite - Displaying tabular data could crash if the cursor was moved past the end of the graph and the number of points was not divisible by 4 Setup/Data Generator - SLI4BBL export format updated to latest specification. It will still need to be checked for GSM loggers that call in. Manual Wizard - WOuld not upload to a Sentry. Sentry upload baud rate now fixed at 1200. Export - reason information is displayed on failure to send or receive email. Data Generator - reason information is displayed on failure to send email. Autocall - SMS force download options text changed to indicate the type of logger the download type is supported on. Setup/Autocall - SMS and SMS/GSM loggers now have an entry for both the SIM Voice and data numbers. The voice number is used for sending SMS messages if entered (else the data number is used). The data number is used if the logger is contacted directly with a modem. Both numbers are used in the search for checking incomming SMS messages to associate data with a location. For existing database locations, the number that was entered is displayed as both the voice and data number, but may be edited. Setup - default logger type changed to Multilog (was Centurion) General - Default baud rate for Sentry type loggers changed from 19200 to 1200 as this is more realiable. Manual Wizard - Multilog Plus now supported. Manual Wizard - 'Unknown - Auto Detect' logger type added. This tries to detect the logger type instead of the user having to select it. Setup/System Config - port selections are now limited to available ports. Find ports and modems button also added. Manual Wizard - Baud rate to store in the database now defaults to the baud rate used to download the logger header (if the database connection type is the same as the download connection type). Previuosly the baud rate defaulted to the default for that logger type which may be different. Setup/Location - Pipe diameter field added Setup/Data Generator - new export type added, Pressure, Volume, Velocity data. View - flow statistic now include velocity. Setup - If extended fn sets were enabled in system configuration, the extended fn sets toolbar button was not enabled until setup was restarted. View - Selecting 'Pipe Test' displayed data as a csv file (excel) before doing the test. Alarm Receiver - Multilog Flash could send a 5 digit id with an alarm instead of the expected 7 digits which could result in the identity being unrecognised. Radwin Lite - If did a print preview with no grpah displayed, closing preview caused the graph toolbar to get displayed. Radwin Lite - If the 'Auto Scale Text with Graph Size' option was disabled, print and print preview would produce a very small font. View - Displaying location data for a time period would take the sensor from the oldest data file scanned looking for data. This would be the oldest data file stored if there was missing data in the required time period. The sensor type is now taken from the oldest file used that contains required data e.g. Request last 70 days of data, sensor will be that of the data from 70 days ago. Autocall - processing SMS where duplictae SMS phone number exists in database could stop processing. Manual Call - Calibration didn't always display the correct number of channels for the selected logger type. Setup - Check for duplicate database SMS Voice numbers was not performed, data numbers only were checked. All SMS Voice and GSM data numbers are now compared to check for duplicates when updateing a location. Setup - update STD codes did not update the SMS number Remote Autocall - Command line force call with no time stamp set the 'current Autocall time' as the time the call should be made. This time is now set to 'Autocall time' less 1 day, which will make Autocall process the request immediately. This is required in case the RemoteAutocall time settings are different from the Autocall time settings, which could result in the call not being immediate. Pocket Manual Call - bluetooth comms didn't work New Features ------------ General - new selection window for all programs (except manual32) that allows items to be created/deleted and viewed during selection via right click menu or tools button. This eliminates the need to keep switching back to Setup, as most items can be updated during item selection. New View32 - replaces old View32 and TransientView32. Provides all features of View32 and Radwin Lite plus additional features. It also allows both normal and transient data to be displayed. It includes new graphing features to overlay data (daily, weekly etc), to merge data - creates a single data graph from multiple graphs, and allows min, max and average graphs to be created where data overlaps (when performed on an overlay graph this can produce min, max, and average profile graphs for days, weeks etc). On option has been added to allow a Volume graph to be automatically created from a Flow graph. New zoom modes for last day, last 7 days, last 28 days, last week, last month, week starting (available weeks selectable), and month starting(available months selectable) have also been added. Cycle through graphs button put immediately after graph select combo and remove graph button is immediately before graph select combo. A new vertical toolbar provides zooming and data export. View - now has no limit on the number of graphs that can be displayed in a graph window, and no limit on the number of graph windows ( was maximum of 8 graphs per window, with a maximum 6 windows ) FTP - Data may be viewed from an FTP site. (A radwin database must first be copied to the FTP site). The FTP site is specified in system configuration. View and Radwin Lite will download information as required. All downloaded information is stored locally, allowing work offline to be specified. Manual Call - Power window configuration is now checked against logger capacity for new Multilog Flash loggers before displaying a useage warning. A warning was always previously displayed if useage was set in excess of 120 minutes. This threshold may now be higher if multiple battery packs are detected. Autocall - Refesh button added to unprocessed message list window Autocall - Reprocess SMS messages option added. This allows archived sms message files to be selected and added to the unprocessed message list for reprocessing. Setup - Options 'check for duplicate telephone numbers' added which compares all database phone numbers and displays any duplicates found. All numbers should be unique. System COnfig - Startup page added to select if helpbars should be displayed when programs start Data Generator/Setup - 'Ashridge' export format added SysConfigView/Data Generator - Time windows may be specified on the system configuration 'Statistics' page. This allows time windows to be specified when calculating min, max, avg, and mnf values. Email - Send and Receive via outlook has been removed due to limitations imposed by microsoft, causing problems sending and blocking automatic reading. Email must now be configured using the SMTP and POP3 server settings. Note: if using exchange server, pop3 MUST be enabled to allow email to be read, even if the server does not required this for receiving email. SMTP relay must be enabled to allow email to be sent. ******** VERSION 3.39 (27/11/06) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.38 --------------------------- view - if no graph windows are displayed and a fn set is selected, if the data cannot be loaded view crashes after displaying the data not available error. View - Function set time windows and data averaging settings were not loaded from the function set or displayed on the data time period selection window view - data for extended fn sets did not get loaded view - if displaying data for a time period caused the missing data list window to get displayed, some icons displayed with a white background instead of being transparent afterwards. System Config - OMS retry value did not get configured correctly System config - could display parameter errors when the PC's Time Zone was set in front GMT (GMT+xx:00) view - if a graphs units were changed the displayed units in the table were not updated unless the current graph was changed view - if graph colours were changed the displayed colours in the table and graph selection were not updated unless the current graph was changed view/alarm programmer - using view from within alarm programmer to select a data region to use as a profile didn't work ------------ Selection Window - entering an identity or a name in the entry fields didn't work. Now selects matching items if found. Setup - Data Manager could display files with incorrect icons Setup - Data manager displayed 'parameter error' on some data files view - derive graph didn't update the graph values table until a different graph was selected View - Statistics and Data Summary maximum values were displayed as the minimum value. Other formats (displayed in the data table, summary data etc), could be opened opened in MS Excel or Notepad but not exported from within View. An 'Export Data Table...' option has been added which will export whatever is in the data table to file. Pocket Setup - Zone names could not be updated Pocket Setup - zones and locations would not always update Autocall - Re-process SMS messages confirm text was not translatebale Autocall - Re-process SMS messages would only work if the messages were in the 'smsarchive' folder. If the files had been moved to another folder name and then selected for reprocessing, it did not work. Autocall - Data Exceedance levels were not reported when processing SMS data. View - Live update didn't work. Graph colour icons are now displayed with a red flash if live updated is enabled on the graph. View - Tabular All time column started in the grid title bar, hence data times were one sample period out in the table View - changeing the sample rate or time window didn't update the data table View - Edit transducers option was available for graphs that had been derived (derived graph, merged data graph etc) which caused view to crash. Transducers should not be selectable for derived graphs. View - if all graphs were removed from a graph window, and then more graphs added, snap cursor position to graph would always be turned off regardless of its true setting. View - Modified transducers could not be saved with the data. Export - zipping data didn't include the zone database files, so this zipped data couldn't be imported. View/Radwin Lite - When Tabular Data was displayed, values were always in base units for the sensor type, instead of the current unit if it was different. View - the pipe test pressurisation start time and time pressure reached could be initialised one hour out. If the times were not checked and altered by the user if required the test would always fail as the times were incorrect. radwin lite/Manual Call - logger time didnt update on all vista loggers. Upload sequence changed to be compatible with older loggers. General - PRV types were not selectable in logger lists even when enabled in the customer file. View - Tabular data export preview displayed the last line twice. If nothing could be displayed i.e. daily preview and not enough data, an invalid line could be displayed. The amount of data used for the preview has also been increased. Manual Call/Pocket Manual Call - instantaneous values did not work on Multilog and SMS Lite loggers if secondary recording wasn't already configured to a fast sample rate. Manual wizard - If stop time is not available on a logger type, an editable stop time was displayed (but no enable button). Stop time is now not displayed. Export - Email scanning didn't detect valid emails on some computers. Setup/General - If a new location was created with a phone number that occurred in another location, the duplicate number warning was not always displayed. View/General - When selecting data files, if a file has already been selected and a new selection is being made (the previous file list gets automatically displayed), the file comments did not always display on the redisplayed list. General - If a new location was created with the database in 'Single Identity' mode, and then the mode was changed to 'Zones and Locations' mode, the new location could not be seen unless a zone matching the zone part of the new logger identity already existed, or if the zone was created manually afterwards in 'Zones and Locations' mode. Setup/General - when creating a new location (in zone and location database mode), the location list always went back one level to the zone list after creating the location. Setup/General - when zones/locations were created or deleted in a remote database (not on the current working drive) the changes did not display in the selection lists until they were forced to update due to other selections, or if the window was re-created. General - If an old database version was being used, 'Read Only' was not displayed on selections, and update and delete options were still selectable (but no action was taken if these were selected). View - if multiple graph windows were displayed and maximised, closing the current window when maximised would not re-display the other windows correctly afterwards. View/Radwin Lite - If more than 8 graphs were loaded into a graph window from multiple files, cursor values only updated for the 8 top most graphs. View - Incorrect data type could be displayed in the toolbar data type combo when switching between graph windows or print preview. View - When a graph window was maximised, the wrong menu items could get enabled/disabled View - Overlay data. Right click menu cursor position displayed week day name and date. The date should not be shown, and the week day name only on weekly and 4 weekly overlays. View - Right click graph menu now updates the current position before displaying the menu. If a right click was performed when a right click menu was already displayed, the menu cursor position value would be displayed correctly, but the cursor line and cursor values displayed in the grid would relate to the old position. View/Radwin Lite - If a zoom is selected the zoom cursor is displayed. When the zoom ends (by releasing mouse button) the zoom is performed and the cursor is changed back to the standard arrow. The graph retains the last zoom mode so should display the zoom start cursor. View - data frequency and data bands wouldn't create a value distribution unless volume distribution was also selected View/System Configuration - Meter Sizing configuration was not displayed in basic or advanced view configuration. It should be displayed in view advanced configuration View - Window menu Close and Close All have no warning messages Radwin Lite - Remove All Graphs has no warning message View/Radwin Lite - If all graphs are removed (in View if all removed but the graph window is still displayed) and the mouse is right clicked, it could crash. View/Radwin Lite - Printed graphs could be very small if many graph lines were displayed, as the graph line titles were always displayed under the graph on a single page. The graph now has a minimum print height and graph line titles can get printed on multiple pages. Location Configuration - Selecting 'Edit' on meter readings without a reading being selected crashes. Autocall - If the call list window is open and the call list automatically updates, Autocall can lock up. The call list will not now update until the call list window is closed. The call list window title will change to indicate it should be closed to allow an update to occur. Autocall/System Configuration - 'Refresh Call List when Database Changes' setting was ignored. The call list was always updated. Data Generator/Function Sets - When using 7 digit function set identities, the full 7 digits were not used in the export file filenames created by Data Generator for export types that support long identities (but were used in the displayed filename when function sets were created). Data Generator - If no channels were selected for WIMS export type the file contained random characters. New Features ------------ Pocket Setup/General - Allows an SD card to be used to store data, which can then be removed from the PDA and inserted into a PC Card Reader for viewing or merging into the main Radwin database. This is to eliminate the need to use Microsoft Active Sync software to retrieve the data from the PDA onto the PC. The current versions of Active Sync (4.0 +) which is required for new PDA’s do not synchronise large amounts of data correctly with the PC, resulting in missing data when the PDA data is merged into the main Radwin database. The PDA database path would be would be of the form ‘\SD Card\RadwinData’ to store the database in a folder named RadwinData on the SD Card. ‘SD Card’ is the default name for an SD Card, but can be verified by checking with the Explorer on the PDA. ******** VERSION 4.40 (08/03/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 3.39 --------------------------- View/Radwin Lite - If the transducer name was changed, it didn't get updated in the graph statistics table. Selection/General - If an invalid filename existed e.g. M00014001.02H (too long - should be M0014001.02H), it would get displayed as M0001 in file selections, but when selected the real M0001 file would be opened if it exists. It should not get displayed in the file list as the name is invalid. Invalid filenames can only occur if a user manualy renames a file in windows explorer incorrectly. Alarm Programmer - always displayed zone and location even in Single Identity mode. Zones should not be displayed in Single Identity mode. General - SMS Lite configuration should display 2 channels, was 4. Alarm Programmer - SMS Lite logger type selection would not allow alarms to be configured by SMS. Data Generator - if exporting last n days/weeks/months etc, and data exists but not to the current date, it exports data that is padded to the current date i.e. last readings in export file are padded values. The export should end at the last good data. View/Radwin Lite - Tabular All data printing did not print the correct date range if zoomed in. View/Radwin Lite - Data Summary printing printed the whole data summary when zoomed in. Should only print the relevant section. View/Radwin Lite - Tabular data print. If printing 4 columns of data values (horizontal table) the time/date column was not wide enough. View - The highlighted background showing missing data did not move when graph times was adjusted, so it did not align with the block of missing data after adjustment. View - Lookup tables were not always applied to the data if the input values were not entered in the lookup table in value order, smallest first. View - Main print title was the grid mode. It should be the current graph window title. Manual Call - SMS Lite displayed complete Multilog parameter screens. Should be a 2 channel logger with main recording only. View - Open Temporary Manual File and Open Last Manual Download didn't work if the file was from a transient logger. General - Entering Zone/Location identities etc on the selection window would find the best match up to last digit, and then select the first item in the list instead of the entered item. View/Radwin Lite - channel selection combo box on file selection should display the channel name after the channel number. Autocall - Manual download (force call and change download type to manual download) could store data with the start record time instead of the start time of the actual time period downloaded. New Features ------------ Pocket Manual Call - If data is downloaded from a logger that is not in the database, a prompt is displayed to allow the location to be automatically created in the database. If it is not created at this stage, a 'Create ID...' button is displayed on the downloaded data window to allow the location to be created at this stage before saving. If the location is not created, data is stored in a temporary file as per previous versions. PDA General - Zone, Location, and Data Select windows now sort data and allow sorting on identities or names by clicking the column headers. Pocket View - Data select now allows data file selection by double clicking a file. Alarm Receiver - process SMS logger System Alarms View/Radwin Lite - The graphs zoom mode is now indicated on the graph options zoom menu, and the graph right click zoom menu. The current zoom mode is displayed checked. Selecting a checked zoom menu clears the zoom mode. View - Load graph text check button option added. This defaults to the system configuration Load Graph Text graph option setting. If checked, any previously saved text associated with this data will be loaded and displayed. View - If graph text is added, removed, or modified, a save graph text option is now displayed when the graph is removed. System Config - View Options: Display Text, Save graph text on exit, and Print Stats with graph, have been removed as they are no longer relevant. View/Radwin Lite - Export Tabular Data now has selection to export all data, or the visible time span. Previously all data was always exported. View/Radwin Lite - Export Data Table and Open Data Table now has selection to export all data, or the visible time span where applicable. Previously the entire table was always exported. Autocall - 'Logger Time Error' and 'Logger Channels Error' status messages are now displayed instead of 'Unknown Error' in the Unprocessed SMS list. System Config - Function Sets. Browse and history selection included for extended function set path. Export - If the target location's name is 'RECOVERED LOCATION' it is now always automatically updated from the source as if it didn't exist. This is because 'RECOVERED LOCATION' means the location has been recovered from a database restore and will only contain a default location configuration. This makes a database that has been corrupted and restored (resulting in 'RECOVERED LOCATION') easy to rebuild from a previous database that contains these locations. General - Software registration is no longer required. General - Multilog LX and SonicSens SMS logger types added. View/Radwin Lite - All Data Summary type added. Creates the data summary table with summary information for all graphs that are not masked. Selection/General - Waiting cursor now displayed while lists are generated and zone location list created faster. Setup - Optimise database and update database version is now only selectable if enabled on the System Configuration Advanced page. Location Configuration\General - 'Last Known Logger Parameters' button added to Logger configuration page. This displays the logger parameters at the time of the most recent data file download. All logger types except - Multilog Plus, Centurion Pressure Transient, Vibrating wire, Sentinal, Merlin, and Pulsar, are currently supported for display. View - Data Options 'Logger Parameters...' menu option added to display the logger parameters at the time the data logger was downloaded. Logger types supported as per Location Configuration 'Last known Logger Parameters'. Selection\General - 'Logger parameters' button added to data file properties to allow the logger parameters at time of data download to be viewed. Logger types supported as per Location Configuration 'Last known Logger Parameters' View/Radwin Lite - Graph options 'Hide missing data replacement values' option added. When selected missing data is not shown on the graph. Data Generator/System Configuration - The configuration for export data types now has a Missing Data option. This has an option 'Leave Blank', which when selected will result in blank fields being exported for any missing data values. ******** VERSION 4.41 (14/03/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.40 --------------------------- Data Generator - could display out of memory error when data was not available for export. Location Configuration - Global Update Location Parameters "All locations In current zone: 'xxxx'>" text ends in '>'. New Features ------------ Database Export - now faster when exporting all zones and locations, especially for a big database. Location Configuration - Global Update Location Parameters now displays hour glass when updating. System Configuration/Manual Call - Manual Call option added to always force a file comment to be entered after data is manually downloaded. System Configuration/Manual Call - Manual Call option added to specify a default comment to be automatically displayed as the file comment after data is manually downloaded. This could be the name or identity of the operator doing the download. Selection\General - When the back button is used to move to the previous level, the previously selected item for that level is now automatically highlighted e.g. moving Back from location 001 in zone 9876 will now highlight zone 9876 in the zone list. ******** VERSION 4.42 (13/07/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.41 --------------------------- Setup config - Multilog LX doesn't display call numbers and time etc in location configuration - should be the same as SMS Lite. Autocall - always recreated the call list after system configuration was updated if 'allow refresh call list when database changes' is enabled. The Call list should only update if a database entry changes. View/Radwin Lite - Load data file. If data file ends in padding, a random value was used if use next good value type is set for the padding value. Centurion loggers defaulted to 2400 Baud for modem. This should be 300 baud. Import/Export - Importing/Exporting large database could give he impression of 'locking up' until it completed. The progress window now updates correctly throughout the transfer. Manual Wizard - SMS Lite, Multilog LX and SonicSens SMS displayed a power window page if SMS Modem was selected as the connection type. These have no power windows. Manual Call - Signal strength monitoring did not update continuously on loggers with I/R reader head communications. Manual Wizard - Calibration. If multiple analogue channels are present, the channel being calibrated may not be that selected from the channel selection. Autocall - Force Download Confirmation window sort on Identity and sort on Download type could crash. Autocall - SMS Modem could display waiting to delete SMS messages after each attempt to look for new messages, even if no new messages were found, if the modem was configured to echo back commands. Autocall - could lock up if force download request made on SMS logger. View/General - File Select allows right click menu to update comment etc but tools button was not enabled. Pocket Radwin - No data files were displayed in the file selection lists when using a 'TDS Recon' PDA. General - Controllog removed from logger lists as it is not an available logger type. View - Vertical graph text (displayed on data bands etc) was displayed twice. Manual Download/Upload - Under windows Vista could display a license expired error on startup. View/Radwin Lite - Total removed from Flow and Pressure statistics as it caused confusion. Export - Progress was not updated when importing/exporting zones. The zone database is exported first when importing/exporting all zones and locations. Progress only updated when the locations were being imported/exported. If importing/exporting to an SD card that is quite slow, this could result in the software displaying not responding during the zone part of the import/export. View - Display Exceedance levels as graph limit lines only works when viewing data by time, not by file. New Features ------------ Data Generator - Ashridge Data Export. If 2 channels are selected but data exists for only 1 channel, the export file is now created and an error put in the error table. Previously the export file was not created. View - data time period selection type 'from Date to Date' added. View/Data Generator - if an archive file contains missing data blocks - caused by missing SMS messages, selecting generate from Archive and Manual files will result in data from Manual files being used to fill the missing data gaps if available. Previously Manual files were used to fill gaps between archive files, but not missing data blocks within a file. View - Data type selection, i.e. 'Data File', 'Data Time Period', 'Function Sets' is now remembered after each selection made. Data Generator - type selection, i.e. 'Locations', 'Function Sets' is now remembered after each selection made. Setup - type selection, i.e. 'Zones Locations', 'Function Sets', 'Lookup Tables', 'Data Manager' is now remembered after each selection made. Autocall - Reprocess SMS message selection list now has an invert selection, to allow quick selection of multiple sites Autocall - 'New' SMS text message from SMS Message List now has option to select/enter multiple phone numbers separated with ';', and to select/enter multiple logger identities to send the messages to, separated with ';'. Autocall - 'New' SMS text message from SMS Message List now has 'Logger Commands...' button to allow SMS logger text commands to be selected as the message to send. Data Generator/General - Ashridge export format renamed to Thames export format. Autocall - 'New' SMS text message from SMS Message List now has a 'Send Time' selection. This allows messages to be sent immediately, or to wait to a specified time. Autocall - Force Download Confirmation window now allows multiple selections when changing the Download Type for similar loggers. Previously the Download Type could only be changed for one logger at a time. System Configuration - Advanced options, allow edit/create/update outside setup, allow calibration outside setup, and enable database optimisation are now enabled by default. View/RadwinLite - Missing data in Tabular and cursor values are now highlighted with a red flag. View/RadwinLite - Limit Line level exceedances are indicated in Tabular and cursor values with a green flag. View - 'Data Options/Data Status Flags/Bad Data Flags...' menu option added. This allows a section of data to be marked as bad. Bad data is excluded when displaying data by 'time period', and is excluded when data is exported by the Data Generator. The default time period entered is the current visible region on the graph. Tabular and cursor values are highlighted with a yellow flag. This option is only available if the current graph was created by selecting a data file. A check list of all other graphs displayed from the same data file (other channels) allows the flags to be applied to multiple channels. View - 'Data Options/Data Status Flags/Highlight Data Flags...' menu option added. This allows a section of data to be marked. The data is treated as normal data, but tabular and cursor values are highlighted with a blue flag. This option is only available if the current graph was created by selecting a data file. A check list of all other graphs displayed from the same data file (other channels) allows the flags to be applied to multiple channels. Selection/General - Download and Upload Wizards, and Advanced Download/Upload/Utilities are now available from location right click menu and tools. Autocall - If requesting data (Force download selected loggers in call list) results in SMS messages being sent, a prompt with the number of messages that will be sent is now displayed, allowing the operation to be aborted at this point. This is useful is requesting all missing data from multiple loggers as this can result in a large number of messages being sent. Autocall - Force Download SMS Loggers 'Request All Missing Data Blocks' now requires a last number of days to be specified. This limits the time period that missing data blocks are requested for, hence limits the number of SMS messages that will be sent. Pocket Radwin - X in top right corner now closes the applications, instead of just minimizing them. Pocket Manual Call – Transducers may now be changed when data is downloaded. Import/Export - Options menu 'Import Ascii Database...' implemented. This allows a database to be created/updated by reading information from an Ascii file. Columns are selected to indicate which database field the information should be inserted into. A Zone/Location identity column must be specified, but all other fields are optional. Any fields not specified are given the default location configuration for creating new locations. Manual Wizard - If the database connection is set to a direct connection or SMS modem type, the Autocall page is no longer displayed. Export - If import/export merge fails, the locations that failed are now retried before the error list is displayed. The error list now also has a retry button, and an export button to export the list of failed locations to a text file. System Configuration - If the configuration cannot be updated (no write permission in Radwin folder) an error message is now displayed. Import/Export - Occasionally during a merge it was possible to get a database zone and location identity length compatibility error. ******** VERSION 4.43 (21/09/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.42 --------------------------- Import/Export - Import data from a Zone did not allow a zone to be selected that did not already exist in the current database. 442 get around is to Create an empty zone with this id in the target before import if it causes a problem. PDA Manual Wizard - Download logger and change identity by selecting from the database. Selecting Next, the identity changes back to that in logger. Import/Export - Merge database with Source and Target paths the same should only allow merging Manual files into Archive Files. View/RadwinLite - If displaying data that ends in padded data, and the transducers settings apply an offset to the data, the graph y-axis scaling range could be displayed too large. Data Generator - Setting the 'export missing data value as' flag did not always work when generating data. Autocall - Logger List on SMS Modem Connection tab page does not auto size when the call status list window size is changed. PDA Manual Wizard - if a location didn't exist in the database, the zone was automatically created but not always the location. Autocall - If multiple SMS loggers were selected in the Call List to request missing SMS data, the selectable settings were based on the first location in the selected location list. If no missing data could be obtained for this location, request all missing data could not be selected to be applied to the remaining locations in the list. Setup/General - zones and locations could not be removed from the database if the folder structure in the database path was missing for the item. PDA Manual Call - The transducers did not update if the logger was found in the database. Manual Call - Telephone numbers were not always updated after selecting a logger in Advanced Download/Upload/Utilities. View/Radwin Lite - If graph statistics are displayed, and all graphs are removed from the current graph window, view could crash. Manual Call - Multilog secondary channels did not always get restarted after uploading a secondary channel configuration. When downloaded it could appear that the new secondary channel configuration had not been programmed. New Features ------------ View/Radwin Lite - Configuration button now on initial toolbar. Previously only displayed when a graph was displayed. General - Wessex Controllercom logger added. Logger may specified in the database, and Controllercom SMS messages are received by Autocall and processed into Radwin Data. General - Multlilog Pressure Transient logger added. General Comms - Time remaining indication improved Data Generator - Thames export format has m3/pulse figures added to the export files. Autocall - Reprocess SMS messages now displays the location identity and name against known numbers. The list may also be sorted. Autocall - 'Request missing SMS Data...' added to 'options' menu. Allows missing SMS Messages to be easily requested for all or selected SMS loggers. General - PCC logger added Import/Export - Save configuration now has an 'Allow shortcut zone selection' option when create desktop shortcut for a single Zone merge is selected, and an 'Allow shortcut location selection' option when create desktop shortcut for a single Location merge is selected. When a Merge desktop shortcut is selected that was created with the allow selection option enabled, a zone select or location select is displayed before the merge confirmation. Manual Wizard - If no channels are enabled to record, a warning is displayed before upload. ******** VERSION 4.44 (05/11/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.43 --------------------------- Manual Call/Wizard - Multilog Pressure Transient Block/Cyclic flag updated for the production version of the logger. This logger in V442 would always remain in block memory. Manual32 - 'Open Last download' in View didn't work after data was downloaded. Autocall - SMS Alarm messages could get processed as Wessex Controllercom data messages which could cause Autocall to crash. View - Displaying function sets that contained 'graph fn' elements could crash. ManualCall - Advanced upload did not upload telephone numbers, call times, or power windows to GSM and SMS loggers. Alarm Programmer - Alarm parameters are not displayed correctly when downloaded from a Multilog LX, SMS Lite, PCC, or SonicSens SMS logger. ManualCall - Advanced upload would try to upload gsm parameters to a portable or PSTN logger. A comms timeout would be displayed, but all requested parameters for upload would have been uploaded successfully first. Selection - Copy and Delete data options did not work if Single Identity logger selection is being used. View - If 2 or more text items are added to a graph, edit text allows all the items to be edited, but only updates the first text item on the graph. ManualCall - Lolog flash logger could take a long time to download a header when using an USB to RS232 adaptor. Alarm Receiver - View data period didnt always work. System Configuration/General - Date format was inconsistent. Windows default settings were used for date entry, but Radwin System Configuration was used for displaying dates. The system configuration setting has been removed and windows defaults are always used. Selection/Location Global Update - The 'enable global update' check box state did not update correctly when switching between pages. View - Derive, Merge, and Daily/Weekly/4weekly Overlay were selectable for Transient data and could crash view. These should not be selectable for Transient data. Alarm Receiver - Used Autocall 'Enable Modem Auto Answer' setting. Auto Answer should always be enabled on Alarm Receiver. Data Generator - If generating data for a location that didn't have any data to generate, a 'Cannot create file' error would be displayed in the error log. This should be a 'Data Not Available' error message. Data Generator - If a location is set to generate data, and the generate channel number is set for a logger with multiple channels, say channel 4, if the logger type is then changed to say a 2 channel logger, the generate channel will be displayed as disabled in the location configuration. Data Generator would still try to generate channel 4 however, even though it does not exist and displays as disabled in the location setup. This would result in a Red item in the generated data report. Data Generator no longer tries to generate this channel, so the item is not displayed red. New Features ------------ Autocall - 'Missing SMS Data' option enhanced to include a graphical table indicating missing data. View/Radwin Lite - Configuration 'Graph Option' added to display y=0 limit line by default. Autocall - Now reports logger call in error if a call is received from a logger but cannot be recognised. Administration - New administration software and all parts of Radwin updated for Administration user logon. Selection/Function Sets - Global update of function sets added. Alarm Receiver - Creates the received alarms list After the program has initialised, allowing instant logon if using Administration. Previously it appeared the program had not started until the list was loaded. Data Generator - Creates the generated data list After the program has initialised, allowing instant logon if using Administration. Previously it appeared the program had not started until the list was loaded. Alarm Receiver - Now has a Right Mouse Click menu on alarm report items to allow easy alarm Acknowledging and Viewing of data. Data Generator - Now has a Right Mouse Click menu on the generated data report list allowing locations and functions to be viewed or edited. Alarm Receiver - Right click menu allows acknowledged alarms to be deleted. ******** VERSION 4.45 (13/12/07) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.44 --------------------------- General Communications - A timeout will now occur if continuous 'rubbish' is received on a comms port. Previously the port would be read until nothing more was received. View - Tabular Data and Tabular All Data could be very slow to create, and sometimes cause an out of memory error, when displaying very large amounts of data, such a 8 million reading from a Pressure Transient Logger. Alarm Receiver - Delete multiple alarms could cause Alarm Receiver to crash after deleting. System Configuration/Alarm Receiver Options - Display period selection radio buttons did not work together properly. It was possible to have more than one selection displayed as the selected option. Autocall - GPRS messages could get left in the SMS Unprocessed Message List as 'Number Not Found'. GPRS messages are identified in the unprocessed list as starting 'ID-'. Location Configuration - Pressing 'Return' after entering a value could cause the page to go blank. Selecting another page would then display correctly. General Communications - Address error could be reported on Lolog Flash download. View - If all graph text was removed using the Graph Options menu 'Edit Text...', view could crash when OK was selected. View - When changes to graph text were made using the Graph Options menu 'Edit Text...', a prompt to save text changes was not displayed when the graph was closed, and the changes were not saved. Logger Parameters - Site info was not always displayed. Import/Export - 'Import SLI files' appending to existing Import files did not 'pad' the existing file if the data being appended didn't occur directly after the current stored data. This could result in the appended data being shifted back in time. System configuration/Logger Lists - Multilog LX, PCC, SonicSensSMS, Multilog Pressure Transient, and Wessex Controllercom logger types could not be disabled. Import/Export - Importing a database from an Ascii file could occasionally miss records. Retries are now performed. General/Update Phone Book - If 'Edit' was selected without a number being highlighted for editing, it could crash. Logger Parameters/Status - The year displayed in date of manufacture and last battery could be incorrect i.e. 190x instead of 200x Logger Parameters - Multilog Plus parameters were not complete in the new software. System Config/Email - POP3 and SMTP Port numbers were only allowed up to 255. View - If displaying data from a date that resulted in a section of missing data at the very end of the graph, the missing data report window would display the missing data times for this section incorrectly. Autocall - SMS Modem Connection call status page last good call time did not get updated. It now gets set to the time of the last good SMS data message. The next call time is left blank except for scheduled receiving and processing. New Features ------------ View - Data time adjust now allows a time shift to be specified by start time or end time. Autocall - Missing SMS Data List table now has a right click menu, allowing the last Archive file for the location to be viewed. View 4.45 required. General - Help buttons now always toggle the help bar display status, as does the help index menu and F1 key. Autocall - Logger call in download improved. General Communications - Abort is now a lot faster where possible. Alarm Receiver - Alarm report now displays much faster. Data Generator - ASCII All Channels export format added. Creates a CSV file containing data for each channel for the logger type. If a channel isn't recording, that column is left blank. View Data Selection/System configuration - Advanced page option added to enable/disable data file integrity checking in data file selection. This was previously always enabled (suspect files are displayed with red icons), but this is slow if a large number of files exists. Checking is now defaulted to disabled in view. It is always enabled in Setup's Data Manager. Administration/view/Radwin Lite - Many more options added for controlling users capabilities. Autocall - Missing SMS Data List table now only includes locations that have an SMS number specified in the database. Autocall - Missing SMS Data List now has the option to request only data that does not exist in other files. Data that exists in other selected file types but not in the current Archive file is displayed blue. General - Irridium Satellite Modem support added. ******** VERSION 4.46 (14/01/08) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.45 --------------------------- View/Admin - Disable printing did not disable the print toolbar button. View/Radwin Lite - If displaying a graph with many readings e.g. 8 million from a transient logger, the graph line may not align with the x axis and cursor line correctly due to rounding errors during drawing (correct shape but not filling entire x axis width). Import/Export - Merge Manual files into Archive files did not work if the file to be merged start time was after the current archive files end time. Manual Call/Wizard - Multilog Plus did not store data correctly if more than 8 channels were enabled. Old Manual32 was OK. View/Radwin Lite - Data with a negative calibration could result in the y-axis not being displayed and sometimes no graph line being displayed. New Features ------------ Language Selector - New version. View - Now includes recent file history on File menu. Alarm Receiver - When receiving alarms from old loggers (300 baud) it is possible that new modems will not drop the call despite the call being terminated by the logger. Alarm Receiver will now force the modem to drop the call. ******** VERSION 4.47 (28/04/08) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.46 --------------------------- General Transducers - Apply logger calibration check button gets disabled when transducers that should not allow it get selected, but does not get re-enabled when a transducer type that does allow it to be changed gets selected. Manual Call - download recording selection, main or secondary, was not displayed for Multilog type loggers. Location config/Generate Ascii All Channels - The Example button when configuring a location for Data Generator/Generate Ascii All Channels could crash. View - When loading a graph from the open history into an empty graph window the tool bars and menus do not update. View/Radwin Lite - If displaying limit lines, data outside the limit range was displayed with a Blue flag (Highlighted data) instead of Green Exceedance flag. View - If loading data from a location that has display exceedances as limit lines set, the limit lines are displayed but data flags are not displayed against data values outside the range unless OK is selected on the Data Options/Units Limits window to confirm the values. Autocall - Always stored transducer information with data as having 'apply logger calibration' set, regardless of the database setting for this. View/Admin - Flow to Volume selection did not always work. View - if a Flow to Volume period less than the data sample rate was selected, view could crash. The minimum period selectable should be the data sample rate. Import/Export - Emails sent from versions of Radwin prior to v3.39 could get ignored when searching for emails to import. Import/Export - Data emails can be received with extra attachments added by virus checkers. It was possible these extra attachments could prevent the required .zip attachment being read. Administration - entering a users password when creating a user displayed the password instead of '*****'. Administration/General - Administration allows usernames and passwords to be entered in lower and upper case. Logging onto programs forces the entered username and password to upper case, resulting in logon failure unless the user was created with an upper case username and password. Lower and Upper case may now be entered when logging on. Manual Call/Wizard - Senator upload didn't work. View/Radwin Lite - When displaying a large number of points, it was possible the last point on the graph could be displayed incorrectly when displaying the entire graph. Ok when zoomed in. View - File history items 'load last n days from date' could display data not available when selected. Remote Autocall - Title was 'Autocall' instead of 'Remote Autocall'. Remote Alarm Receiver - Title was Alarm Receiver instead of 'Remote Alarm Receiver'. Import/Export - Multiple Export desktop shortcuts could be created, but only 1 Import desktop shortcut could be created. View - When displaying Raw data values as Tabular Data, view would export Unit values instead of Raw values. Manual Call/Logger Parameters - GSM clock time was not displayed. Autocall/Manual Call/General - If a comms port could be opened but writing to the port continually failed (e.g. a USB RS232 port being unplugged during transmission of a logger command), a timeout did not always occur. Alarm Programmer/View - Using the Profile 'Import From Radwin' option, and selecting data by Time Period could crash View. A warning is now displayed indicating data opened in this way must be exported to file and then the file imported into the profile using the Import ASCII file option. Only data files can be imported directly. Alarm Programmer - Profiles always show sensor/units relating to channel 1 regardless of channel. Alarm Receiver - Multilog profile alarms could be interpreted as a level alarms. Logger Parameters - Load and Save did not work with call times, call numbers, and power windows. Location configuration - Print wasn't implemented in the new format. Manual Wizard - The database SMS number field displayed the current database 'modem number' instead of the database 'SMS number' if configuring loggers that already exist in the database. Alarm Programmer - Logger comments did not display when downloaded from SMS Lite and Multilog LX type loggers. New Features ------------ Import/Export - Ascii database export now allows all locations, all locations in a selected zone, or a single location to be exported. Previously it always exported all locations. Alarm Receiver - If the start of an alarm message is missed due to a slow modem carrier detection on the receiving modem (logger sees a carrier so sends an alarm but the receiving modem does not receive the start of the alarm message), an attempt is now made to process the partial message that is received. This is only a problem with some older firmware versions in PSTN Multilog Flash loggers. Manual Wizard - Logger identity page simplified with a single select button to select an identity from the database. Autocall - SMS message list now displays Alarm messages as 'Logger Alarm' in the status column. Previously they were just displayed as Text Message. The Summary Export file option on the message list also exports them as Logger Alarm now. Manual Call/Advanced - Logger/Connection configuration and download/utilities options windows are now combined into a single window. Also upload Logger/Connection configuration and upload options windows have been combined. Data Generator - The error log now overwrites duplicate errors that occur on successive generations. View/Radwin Lite - Filled line type now fills the area between the graph line and y=0. Previously it filled down to the x axis. General - Senator Plus logger type added. Import/Export - Ascii Database import now displays 'm out of n items imported' message after import. General/Administration - When logging on, the cursor is now displayed in the username field ready for the username to be entered. Selection - Global update locations and function sets have a maximise button to allow a large selection check list. Selection - Global update locations and function sets now have column sort on identity and name on the selection check list. Administration/General - Database paths may now be entered in Administration and associated with users. If a user is assigned a single database, that database is automatically selected when the user logs on. If multiple database paths are allocated to a user, the user has to select the required database after logging on. Location Configuration - 'Autocall' configuration now has an 'Autocall Download Log...' button to display the download log for this location. This displays and exports all Autocall downloads for this location. Autocall - Downloaded Data Log may now be exported. Logger GSM Parameters - Call Numbers and Call Times have been combined onto a single page. Advanced Download/Upload/Utilities - Now remembers last configuration settings, and redisplays itself after downloads like the original Radwin 'Download Upload 32' program. System Configuration/Units - Units page is now Transducers/Sensors/Units and allows Transducers, Sensors, and Units to be defined. It also allows a folder to be specified for storing these. Manual Call/Logger Parameters - GPRS settings may now be configured. General - Multilog LX GPRS and Multilog GPRS logger types added. PDA Upload Wizard - Displays an upload confirm window showing the time, sample rate and enabled channels that will be uploaded. Import/Export - 'Export database as ASCII' now displays a progress window during export. Selection - Global Update Locations and Global Update Function Sets now display a progress window during update. View - 'Summary Graphs' added to the Advanced menu. This allows minimum, maximum, and average, summary graphs to be created for the selected sample period. It also allows transient data to be summarized and displayed on a non-transient graph window. Autocall - SMS Message list now has a maximize button. Autocall - SMS Message list is now split into 5 pages: Pending, Logger - Number Not Found, Logger - Errors, Logger - Alarms, Text. Autocall - SMS Message list's Summary Export now has 2 export type options, 1) export the required pages (as displayed), 2) diagnostic export, as performed in previous versions of Autocall that exports detailed information. Import/Export - Can now import GPRS logger alarm messages from email. Previously GPRS alarm messages were always sent and received via SMS. ******** VERSION 4.48 (08/08/08) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.47 --------------------------- View/Radwin Lite - Displaying graphs with tabular formats other than 'Cursor Value' selected could crash after the last graph is removed. View - Save would create a U file with a maximum of 8 graphs, instead of the number of graphs displayed, up to a maximum of 99. View - saving a graph (creating a U file) did not save graph text in the new U file. View - Loading a graph from the file history didn't load the stored text. Senator Plus/Multilog Plus - If the logger is stopped and has cycled in memory, and is manually downloaded, the data start time could be displayed as 1/1/1970. GPRS configuration - Start time removed from single call frequency, and Dual call frequency times renamed to frequency2 window start and end. Advanced Manual Download/Upload - if the comms port was changed on the download or upload window, the modem control string used would be for the previous selected port. Advanced Manual Download/Upload - Multilog Secondary Recording download could store data with the sample rate of the main recording. View/Radwin Lite - Zooming into a single graph axis, e.g zoom into time region, caused scroll bars to be displayed on both axis. Scroll bars should only be on the axis that was zoomed. View/Radwin Lite - If started with the helpbar visible (i.e. display helpbar on startup selected in system configuration), print preview and printing could result in graph text and graph axis text being too large. Manual Download Utilities - Instant Values for Lolog Flash displayed a cumulative value instead of the actual instant value. View/Selection - Repair was available for 'U' files in file Properties. U files, created by Save in View, can consist of mixture of data with different times and lengths so repair isn't valid. Import/Export - If importing emails from an empty email account, the next import time displayed on the Email status bar does not get updated, but the imports are still performed at the required intervals. View - If displaying a function set that contains function sets, the displayed title could relate to one of the included function sets instead of the selected function set. View/Radwin Lite - Select print and then cancel on the print dialog, the graph would always be left in auto scale graph text mode. General - Ctrl+ key shortcuts could display inappropriate windows. Data Generator - Thames export format now checks that data is available for all channels selected for export. If a second channel is selected but data does not exist, it is now totally omitted from the export file. Previously the filename would have contained the second channels meter serial number (all 0's if not entered in database), and the file header could also be incorrect. New Features ------------ General - About screens now display the program path and the version numbers of Radwin Dlls being used. Normally DLLs should be the same version number as the software, and if different may highlight an installation problem. Remote Autocall - Now displays status bars that give an indication of what the main Autocall ports are doing. Updates status every 5 seconds. View/Radwin Lite - 3D Filled Line graph type added. Bar, 3D Bar, and 3D Ribbon types improved. Senator Plus - 2400 modem baud rate added Advanced Manual Download/Upload - If the comms port is changed for a connection type, the user is now prompted if to make that the default port for that connection type. System configuration is updated if required. DataGenerator - Date removed from Thames export filename. General - Lolog Flash Compressed logger type added. Autocall - Source of SMS messages is now stored and displayed in the message list. The source can be 'SMS Modem Comx', 'Email', 'FTP' , or 'Unknown' for messages from previous versions of Radwin. If an SMS message is being reprocessed, '- Reprocess' is displayed after the source. Autocall - Now displays the database path on the title bar. Data Generator - Now displays the database path on the title bar. Autocall/General - If a modem doesn't respond a comms timed out Modem Command Response error is now displayed instead off just comms timed out. This allows modem errors to be differentiated from general communication errors. Autocall/Alarm Receiver - If a modem is not responding on startup the open ports window now displays modem - not responding Autocall - Now detects and displays when a modem is not responding. When this occurs, after a number of unsuccessful attempts have been made to communicate with the modem, the modem will be flagged in Red on the comms status bar and marked as Not Responding. Calls will no longer be assigned to this modem until: 1) the abort button, which will now say ‘Retry’, is selected or 2) the time passes through an hour boundary which will perform an automatic retry. Retry clears the Not Responding status from the comms status bar and Autocall can assign one call to the port when required. If this call fails, the port status will revert back to Not Responding, until the next hour boundary or user Retry. Errors are put in the error table as ‘Comms Timed Out: Modem Not Responding’ indicating a modem problem. Previously a modem error would have displayed as the less specific ‘Comms Timed Out’. Location Configuration - The channel names page has been removed, and channel names are now on the location page, along with the location identity. Statistics, which were on the location page, are now on a separate Statistics page, and have been enhanced to include small and large commercial property counts, and consumption figures for use with reporting. Setup - Autocall data list now has an export button to export to comma delimited Ascii file. View/Radwin Lite - 'Graph Statistics - All' option added to display and print graph statistics for all currently displayed graphs. Autocall - SMS Event Logging Data Messages can now be processed. Reporter - new program, Radcom Reporter created. Currently creates Consumption Saving and Correlative Evaluation reports for the selected logger identity range and time span. Administration - updated to include Reporter. ******** VERSION 4.49 (27/10/08) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.48 --------------------------- Autocall - Could crash when storing errors due to Autocall call intervals being set to 0 in the database. Any interval found to be 0 is now defaulted to 1 day. General - Com port detection could fail to recognise some ports with the enhanced detection method used in 4.48. The original detection method has now been reinstated. System Configuration/Autocall Ports - An error could be displayed when multiple ports are enabled stating only one instance of some ports types are allowed, when only one is actually enabled of those types. Selection - If office lists were enabled, the displayed locations were limited to the selected offices if displaying zones and locations, but not if the single identity selection method was being used. Selection - if using office lists and a new location is created that already exists in an office that is not displayed, a 'Select OK to update' message was displayed instead of a 'Cannot update' message. Lolog Flash Display Parameters - could report a data out of range error for the meter reading for an analogue channel. Alarm Programmer - Uploading daily alarm profiles to a Multilog type logger could fail if each day had a different profile. Download Wizard and Advanced download - Psion and Interrogator download did not work. Autocall - Psion download of lolog flash with lolog firmware could report a logger pointer address error after in the error table. New Features ------------ Selection - Tree View now has right click menus. Selection - Location right click menu now has a display Last Known Logger Parameters option. Location Configuration - Locations may now have a GIS position, latitude/longitude specified. Selection - Has a new view type called Maps. Allows map images (bitmaps, giff, jpegs etc) to be displayed and calibrated with latitude/longitude coordinates. Locations that have a latitude/longitude specified will automatically be displayed on calibrated maps. Multiple maps may be configured, and links positioned on and around maps to allow easy navigation. System Configuration - Selections page has been added. This allows the default selection view type to be selected, List/Details/Tree/Map. Map selections are configured by specifying where map files are stored, and the default map to be displayed. View selections may also be configured. Data Display, how new graphs are displayed may be selected, 'Add To Current Graph Window' (same as previous radwin)/ 'Display In New Graph Window' (will always put the new graphs in a new window - new graphs will not overlay existing graphs) / 'Remove All Graphs Before Displaying' (remove all graphs and graph windows before displaying the new graph on a new graph window). Data file selection may be configured as 'Advanced - Display Configuration Window (same as previous radwin to allow channels etc to be selected) / 'Display Graph - Load All Channels' (a new fast load that displays the graph with all channels immediately). Data time period selection may be configured as 'Advanced - Display Configuration Window (same as previous radwin to allow time period etc to be selected) / 'Display Graph - Use Default Period' (a new fast load that displays the graph immediately using the default time period that may also be configured on this new selection configuration page). Selection/View - The Fast and Advanced data selection methods are displayed on the items right click menu, which allows the default selection method to be changed temporarily. Advanced Download and Pocket Manual Call - Download last number of days of data is now available for lolog flash and Multilog type loggers. Selection - If changing between compatible list types, such as 'select a data file from a location' to 'display data by time period for a location', the last item selected is now the selected item in the new list type. Previously the list went back to the top level items. Administration - If a user is configured to use specific database paths, office lists on these paths may now also be specified. This is then applied to the database when the user logs in, allowing the number of displayed locations to be limited for this user. View - If limit lines are enabled the auto graph scaling is automatically adjusted so the limit lines will be visible. Selection - now remembers its last size and position. Selection - now remembers the last view type displayed. Selection - layout has been changed so that it displays down the left hand side of the screen, allowing easier selection. Selection - Logger last known power windows can now be displayed from the tools or location right click menu. Advanced Download/Upload/Utilities - Logger last known power windows can now be displayed before download. Import/Export - Email error window made larger and export button added so the error can be saved to file. System Configuration/Logger Time - Automatic time adjust 'year' has been removed. The specified day and month of the change is now applied every year. Translator - Checks special formatting is correct. Compares occurrences of '%s','%d','%f' etc are the same and in the correct order compared to the English text string being translated. If incorrect, the translated string is highlighted with a red background. Incorrect formatting in a word file can lead to a program crash when running in the translated language. System Config/Location Config/Function Config - Program selection lists changed to tree controls for easier selection Logger Parameters - Tab control changed to a tree control at the side to allow easy scrolling through the logger configuration pages. Autocall - If the same SMS message is read from the modem on consecutive reads, indicating it failed to delete from the modem, an error is now displayed in the error table with the number of consecutive reads for that message. This can indicate the SIM card is failing and needs replacing. Autocall Errors - When viewing errors (double click error or select error and View), the 'Suggested Remedy' now provides further information and advise on the error. ******** VERSION 4.50 (14/01/09) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.49 --------------------------- Import/Export - If an error occurs when sending a scheduled email, an error dialog was displayed, but this stopped any further emails being sent until it was acknowledged. The dialog should be displayed but should not prevent the sending of other emails. If additional errors occur when an error is displayed, the error is updated to the latest error. Import/Export - The Computer Identity was used to check if to send scheduled emails. If the locations computer identity did not match that in system configuration, the email was not sent. The computer identity should Not be used. All locations configured to send emails should send. Alarm Programmer - When importing a profile for a Multilog type logger (24 point profile), applying offsets to create the upper and lower profiles could result in the lower profile values being greater than the upper profile values, the upper and lower values being reversed. 4.49 temp fix is to make the 'apply fixed offset' or 'apply percentage offset' values negative when loading the profile. Logger Parameters - Centurion/Senator logger calibration values were not stored for upload if the channel was changed after entering new values. Selection - If in 'list view', the top level (e.g. zones/locations level) displays a folder icon with no right click or tools menu. In 'details view', the top level displays a description (e.g. zones/locations level), but again no right click menu. A menu is now displayed that relates to the next level down (e.g. zones in the case of zones/locations). selection - Selecting locations, function sets, or lookups when creating items within a function set, 'list view' would always be displayed by default. Download/upload/Utilities - Utilities calibration and zero could fail. Autocall - SMS missing data table did not send requests to SMS Event type loggers. Manual Call - Centurion pressure transient didn't store compressed data correctly. Location Configuration/Meter Readings - If all meter readings are removed from the table, and then a new reading added it can crash. system Configuration/Autocall ports - If an SMS Modem port SIM number was removed and the port disabled, a no SIM number error would be displayed despite the port being disabled. Import/Export - Exporting 'I'mport files did not work. New Features ------------ Import/Export - If an error occurs sending a scheduled email, the sending is retried up to 2 additional times, each retry at least 1 minute apart. Import/Export - If an error occurs during a scheduled receive email, an error dialog is now displayed (which does not prevent future receives). The error was not previously displayed. Selection/Maps - Right click menu now has a refresh button to force the map to update displayed locations. Installation - Now allows administration profiles, and radwin .cfg files to be installed if they are present on the install disk. This allows default configurations to be installed. Administration/Logger Utilities - Options added to control the logger Utilities (logger calibration etc). Administration/Download/Upload - Additional options added to control download and upload facilities. General - Error messages when entered values are out of range now display the field name that the error relates to. Data Generator - Generated data table now has a right click menu option to view the generated file. It will be displayed in the default viewer for the file type e.g. '.csv' may be in Excel, or notepad if a default viewer does not exist. Alarm Programmer - Has been simplified. It now has 2 options, select a location to download, or to enter/load new parameters. The parameters window now displays a list of stored alarm configurations for the current location and allows them to be selected from there. Download/upload/Utilities - Utilities windows now have a maximise button, allowing full screen value tables to be displayed. Data Generator - New 'XLS All Channels' export type added. This creates an Excel .xls file. Import/Export - Ascii database import. If importing an identity that already exists, the existing record is now updated with the selected fields from the import file. Previously the location was replaced by a default location configuration using the selected fields from the import file. Autocall - Error table now has pages to sort error types. The end of stored data time is also displayed with each error. Autocall - lgsmsaw.exe updated to v3.16 for processing of Wessex Controllercom SMS messages. ******** VERSION 4.51 (02/04/09) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.50 --------------------------- Autocall - Printing the error table crashes if print preview is not displayed. View - If displaying data by time from the end of file, and old recordings had additional channels to the current recording, the time span displayed could be much greater than requested to include these additional channels. Only data from channels within the time span calculated from the newest data available is now displayed. Alarm Receiver - if a data download is required after an alarm, the data download could be attempted by Autocall before the logger had hung up from the alarm call, resulting in the call failing. A delay of 5 minutes has been introduced to give the logger time to be able to receive the call. Alarm Programmer - Advanced configuration menu option did not work. View - 'Tabular All Data' did not display or export the graph title in the data column header, only the graph units. These should be displayed and exported the same as 'Tabular Data' for a single graph. Autocall - Print button on view errors windows didn't work. View - Display function set data using 'last number of days from end of file', where there is missing data at the start of the time period selected, and 'Display Initial Missing Data' is Not enabled, resulted in the data being highlighted as missing. Logger Parameters - Multilog Psuedo channels min/max value could be displayed incorrectly. Logger Parameters - Multilog Psuedo channels Enable states did not update when loading stored parameters Manual Call - Advanced download/upload menu option was grayed out. Manual Call - Advanced Senator Plus, Multilog Plus and Multilog Plus GSM could display the wrong logger parameters window (Multilog) so call times and power windows were not displayed. New Features ------------ Autocall errors - now has a page that displays all the errors in one list, in addition to the sorted pages. Setup - optimise database - optimise and restore database is now the only option. Optimise on its own has been removed, as the folder structure should always be synchronised with the database. GPRS Logger Configuration - A warning is now displayed if the number of messages to be sent will reduce logger battery life. Alarm Programmer – Where supported can program differential alarms, and allow alarms on main and secondary recordings. Alarm Receiver – Can receive new differential alarm types General - Enhancements to GPRS configuration and alarms for Sentinel Plus. New 'S' data file type created for sentinel plus secondary recording real time data. This is similar to an 'A'rchive file but for the secondary recording. ******** VERSION 4.52 (17/06/09) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.51 --------------------------- Selection/double click item - If the double click operation resulted in tree being redrawn when an item was updated, it could cause a crash. Data Generator - If generating data for all channels, and a channel had missing data at the end (could be caused by a missing SMS message) that channel did not get included in the export. Autocall - Would always wait the call retry time (3 minutes) before retrying a failed download. If the call interval is less than 3 minutes the normal call interval should be used. Selection/maps - if a logger was added to a map in a position outside the bounding rectangle of the coordinates selected to calibrate the map, the logger was not always displayed. Autocall - The transducer used on SMS data could be incorrect for Pseudo channels (where the channel number is greater than the loggers physical number of channels). View - If viewing data by time, the bad data flags menu should be greyed out. Function Sets - The Expand Fn Elements option did not always work if using 7digit function set identities. Function Sets - Function set elements within a function set could incorrectly display 'Unknown Function' as the name. Alarm Programmer - Uploading alarm levels via SMS only uploaded channels 1 and 2. Alarm Programmer - Uploading via SMS always uploaded profiles even if they were not selected. Selection - Function sets could not be created within empty function groups from the Tree view. New Features ------------ Autocall - error table now split into separate tables for each computer id. Autocall - Error reporting and clearing of errors that are no longer current has been improved. Setup - Optimise database now has progress indication. Setup - Options menu modified to have a Database Utilities Sub Manu to group database type utilities. Setup - Database Utilities now has an Archive Data option, to 'remove' data older than the specified age from the database. Setup - Create function set Location Report added that creates a tabular report of locations contained within function sets. ******** VERSION 4.53 (03/09/09) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.52 --------------------------- Database on FTP - File selection in Tree view does not display any data files. Details view works. General - The character '-' was allowed in zone identities when creating new zones, but not in location identities. Locations could not be created within a zone containing '-'. '-' is now an allowed character in identities. Alarm Programmer - should check logger type before downloading differential alarm levels. Lolog Flash Compressed - data hysteresis was not settable and sms data calibration could be incorrect. Lolog flash Compressed - calibration did not work if it was recording. New Features ------------ Autocall - Timeout period increased when receiving an incoming call to allow for slow PSTN connection. General - Farsi (Persion) calendar may now be selected as the default calendar on the system page in system configuration. This will display all dates as Farsi dates. Note: Entry date fields will still display using the standard Gregorian calendar. ******** VERSION 4.54 (04/03/10) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.53 --------------------------- PDA Pocket Manual Call - SMS parameters didn't upload for all logger types. Upload would just say uploading General parameters. Autocall - Download data log could store an incorrect sample rate with the download log item. This could result in an incorrect length of data being generated by Data Generator if generating last downloaded data. Autocall - error table could print the error over the edge of the table if it was a long description. It now splits it into 2 lines if it will not fit. Export - Desktop merge data shortcut that allowed a location selection did not always display locations in the selection list. Data Generator - 'XLS All Channels' export file could display additional characters on time dates and table column headers in Excel. Data generator - When the generator is started, the next generate data time may be the 'generate frequency' time period too far in the future. e.g. If generating data every 24 hours at 11:00, and the current time is 10:00, the generate time will be 11:00 tomorrow instead of 11:00 today. Advanced Dnld - Lolog Flash Compressed allowed days of data and memory download to be selected, but this is not supported on this logger type and will not work. This option has now been disabled for this logger type. View - If a function set has multiple graphing functions, and one of the graphing functions has no data, an error is displayed but no other graphs from the function set after this get displayed. Also the Cursor Values table is not initialised. View - if a volume graph is created from a flow graph with a sample period of 1 day, the values in the graph summary table were incorrect. Autocall - SMS pseudo channel data could get the wrong transducers applied. New Features ------------ Multilog GSM/SMS Flash - Modem 2400 baud rate option added. Autocall ports - FTP icon displayed in place of com port icon for SMS from FTP. View - Graph units displayed on Y-axis now indicate if the transducer is configured to modify some data values, e.g. if the transducer has a 'Data Type' set to 'Positive Data (-ve to 0)', '(-ve to 0)' will be displayed after the unit name. Wizard - now supports GPRS loggers System Config/Autocall - GPRS from FTP port type added, allowing Autocall to download data from a GPRS logger from an FTP site. Autocall/General - DataGate implemented. General- Multilog GPRS and Multilog LX GPPS FTP support added. Setup includes an FTP list similar to the phone book list to allow FTP site information to be stored and selected. Data Generator - Export formats Pressure Volume Velocity2 and ACII All Channels2 added. These are similar to the existing exports but include the location name in the headers. ******** VERSION 4.55 (06/05/10) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.54 --------------------------- view - transducer window channel number combo is irrelevant and is now not displayed. View - export data csv created a .txt file by default. Now creates a .csv file. Advanced download - Lolog Flash and loggers with Display Calibration allowed the channel type to be selected. This should not be selectable if the logger header has been downloaded and the channel type is known FTP list - port number did not get saved and always defaulted to port 21. Alarm Programmer - Alarm level valid data range entry limits were too small. Autocall - GSM loggers using direct connection (RS232) send an ending call command that resets the modem that is not required when directly connected via RS232. New Features ------------ Advanced download - New page added after the Utilities called Signal. Monitor Signal strength moved from Utilities page onto the Signal page Advanced download - Daily signal strength download, network test, and last network test results download options added to the new Signal page. Advanced Download/Upload - Port and Baud are now greyed out if SMS Modem connection type selected. Alarm programmer - If entered levels are found to be too large, the upload is aborted and the user notified. Data Generator - Eydap export format added. ******** VERSION 4.56 (11/06/10) ******** Bug Fixes From version 4.55 --------------------------- Sentinel Plus Time Control - Time enabled states did not always display correctly. Alarm Programmer - could hang when uploading alarm profiles to a Multilog. Lolog Flash Display - display settings did not upload correctly Data Generator - If data files were not in chronological order, exporting data as last days from end of file would use the end time of the last file which was before the end time of the available data. New Features ------------ Autocall - New GPRS logger FTP2 (type 12) message supported from FTP site and Datagate. Autocall/General - 'SMS to Datagate' port type added to upload SMS messages received by a local SMS Modem to an FTP site that Datagate can read and process the messages.
